Pure magic
I was skeptical because these look flimsy, but they really were magic for me. I was having a couple problems with pumping. Flange fit was an issue - even though I was sure I had the closest thing to the proper size, I still had a lot of skin rubbing against the sides because no matter what size I used the areola stretched and got sucked in. Also efficiency was an issue- I was consistently pumping for 30+minutes to get a decent amount of milk. Because of the rubbing and the extensive amount of time spent pumping my skin became more sensitive so I had to use a very low setting which made things worse. These little cushions helped so much! They helped the flange fit better and minimize rubbing. As a result I can comfortably turn up the suction several notches and have been able to feel empty in about half the time! If you are having any similar issues definitely give these a chance!

Effective, easy to use & comfortable.
These have definitely helped in my pumping journey, I actually bought more pairs for on the go. I use them with spectra, Freemie and Elvie pumps successfully. They are very stretchy and sticky but make pumping more comfortable and help with maintaining suction even when moving.

Most useless product I've purchased since becoming a mom.
This has to be the most useless thing I've purchased as a new mom. I've tried multiple times to get them to work, but the design is horrible. One of the most important part of pumping is being able to see your nipple to make sure you've placed your flange correctly. We all these are made of opaque silicone so you can't see your nipple at all. They stick to everything so they are very difficult to place in the flange and they are so thin they added no comfort that I noticed. They are expensive for what they are to begin with but then when they were not only difficult to use but also blocked my view of my nipple and would stick to themselves and block the flow of milk they also proved to be completely useless. For moms already stressed about pumping, this is the last thing you need.

Helps with elastic nipples but durability or price point could be improved on
After reading many posts about these I bit the bullet and purchased them. I struggle with elastic nipples, so when I pump, even with proper flange sizing, my nipples hit the back of the flange and extracting milk is very difficult. I’ve tried many things over the years, and while these cushions DO help with my problem, the price point and lifespan of the cushions do not add up for me. Something that only lasts less than a month (with routine pumping, and effectiveness gradually decreases over this timespan) shouldn’t come with the hefty price tag of $25 a pair. With my firstborn, i pumped for a year. Going off that estimate, I would spend $300 on these cushions ALONE, and that’s outrageous and impractical. While i prefer using these, I’ll revert back to my pumpin pals flanges (around $20 as well, but seemingly lasts forever) which also help with my elastic nipples. With an improvement on either durability or the price point, these would be a real winner.

Like a second skin for your nips
I ordered these without fully knowing what their purpose was. Honestly I was hoping to soften the impact of the flange “cone” going into my breast. After watching the how to videos, I tried out a pumping session. These cushions do, in fact, greatly reduce nipple pain associated with friction front pumping. Because the cushions are opaque it takes a little trial and error to get your nipples correctly aligned, but once you do, pumping gets much more comfortable. Specifically I have a damaged nipple from a baby who has bitten me a few times. Using these cushions, I am able to pump on that side again and it feels like it did when my nipple was totally healthy. The cushions also help me to tolerate a higher pumping suction over consecutive pumping sessions.I wish these cushions were lower maintenance in washing and that they cost less since you’re supposed to replace them monthly.

Only for small nips under 24mm
I just want to say if your flange size is bigger than 24mm I do not recommend you purchase this. This product DID WORK for me. I used it with a Manual Medela Harmony.*Why I purchased* I decided to try this insert while I waited for a round of different size smaller flanges to arrive. I was using a 21mm flange and it is too big for me! A portion of my areola goes in with my nipple and its affecting how much I can pump out. So I frantically watched a few youtube videos and this was one of the recommended items.* Flange Sizes* as stated above I used this with my 21mm flange. The insert itself is naturally slightly smaller than the 21mm flange HOWEVER it is stretchy and elastic. In its non-stretched state it's about 19-20mm. Definitely not a 1 size fits all product. Which is why I see plenty disappointed users. Stretching it might help for some women, but for me I definitely didnt need to. I did not see milk go between the insert and flange. The item did not hug my nipple it stayed put while I was able to pump.*How it Helped Me* Since using my 21mm flange it has cracked my nipples and I noticed that my supply was struggling. I wasnt increasing much, nipples were sore an cracking, milk started taking forever to come out, I was having to hand Express half of what used to pump straight out, getting sad drops instead of streams like before....etc. While using this i pumped MUCH BETTER. My nipples didnt get as big and swollen and the milk flow lasted longer. It is a good tool to use while I'm exploring smaller flanges.*Cons* like others have stated, this thing needs constant washing, a pain when you only have 1 set. I have brown cracked nips and after use it's not a pretty sight. You cant see how lined up your nipple is in the flange because of its color. This thing is actually worth $10 but since its helped me in a emergency, I'm not super torn up about the $25. Like I've stated multiple times this thing is best for small nips. If you're 24mm and above really think before purchasing.
