I would say it adds 1.5 cup size for sure and it really helps if your boobs are different so you can use just one insert to make it look even

I don't believe they are designed for that--one of the pics makes them seem more "teardrop" shape than they actually are. They are Oval, tapered at each side. You insert them into your bra under/side breast to add fullness. In my case it is acting as a partial prosthetic in one side "matching" up my breasts. If wearing a thin/lacy bra they would be obvious, I wear Victorias Secret and their padded fabric covers up any anomalies. My previous set had a breathable cover and was slightly larger, they are not available so I tried these. They work well, but do get very sweaty--wash them off after use, you can pat them dry with a towel.
