Great combination of extension cord and power strip in one.
This is a great product, I love the combination of a retractable extension cord along with a power strip all in one. I use it in my condo garage, My garage only has one regular two plug electrical outlet in the ceiling to power the garage door opener. So I plugged this into the remaining power outlet, and now i have three extra plugs to run other things. I also love that when not in use, i can retract the whole thing neat and tidy. It's only a one car garage so it's pretty small, so things need to be able to be put away.I also love that it has the polarized socket and a ground plug as well. Each of the four outlets has it's own little socket cover as well. They are a bit flimsy but I guess you could take them off daily easily if you didn't want them on at all. All in all a great way to add a few more outlets if you need them.

Great product
Our only complaint is that the outlets are so close to each other that we can't use this as originally intended, because the plugs on our display lamps are large. We have to use a power strip with this to fit them all.

Perfect retractable extension port
Had this product for a few years and it still works like new. A true value for money purchase, durable and and easy to use.

Good for the price
Pretty great for the price of under $30. When I first got it, I was skeptical because it honestly looks like cheap plastic.I've actually dropped it a couple times and it hasn't cracked. It still works! I use it as an extension cord to charge my Nissan Leaf. I like how easy it is to reel it back up again. It's light, stores easily. No more hassling with the huge heavy duty extension cord that my husband has.

Much easier to use than extension cord!
The ShopMax Power Hub is a great addition to any shop. The 20 foot cord on a reel is easy to set up for use and easy to reel up afterward. I use it everyday. It is light weight and the hinges over the outlets can come off if you are not careful. So far I have been able to snap them back on. It has made things much easier in my shop.

Great for what it is
It works. It's light. It's a manual roll-up mechanism (so less things to go wrong!)The only problem is that I need the cord to be 10 feet longer, but that's my own stupid fault for not measuring the distance needed for the use case that I intended this for.In response to one of the other reviews I read, yes the plastic is not super-heavy-duty, so if you bang this around, it will probably eventually break. I wouldn't leave it exposed to the elements, and I wouldn't suggest it for "heavy duty" use cases.
