Works great on Discord
As a preface, I've been looking for an ideal headset setup for casual gaming. For years I used a full gaming headset (HyperX Cloud II) with attached mic, but it gets hot in the summer months and causes the dreaded headset hair. I initially gave IEM's a try as a lightweight option and they worked okay but not completely comfortable since they go into your ear canal, and the inline mic wasn't great either. Then I tried the Koss KSC75X which I've been using for over a year now and just love (I use it in combination with the DAC from my old headset), so lightweight and comfortable I forget I have them on, but like the IEM's the inline mic leaves more to be desired (works fine in meetings but I wasn't heard well in games with all the other noise going on).So I've been contemplating a viable solution to pair the KSC75X with a quality mic, I first looked into solutions that would allow me to mod the KSC75X somehow with a different cable or attached mic but couldn't find anything practical that seemed like it would work or be any better than my current situation. It seemed like my only option was a dedicated gaming mic that I would have to attach to a boom which I wanted to avoid because it seemed like it would take up too much space and add too much clutter to my desk. I just wanted something simple that I could fit under my monitor so it wouldn't take up much space and would be out of the way so it wouldn't get bumped or knocked over, and I would rarely need to adjust it. I can definitely attest that this mic fits the bill with a compact size and a solid base showing no signs of tipping over. I was hoping to find a directional mic but wasn't having any luck in the size specifications I was looking for, so I figured I would be adventurous and give this mic a try.The first thing I noticed is its plug and play, no additional software, just make the necessary adjustments in the sound settings - easy.I then started testing the mic just with a basic recorder to see what it would pick up, I was nervous if it would pick up my voice because I'm positioned about two feet away from the mic. The good news is it had no problem picking up my voice, the bad news is it picks up everything in the room which means keyboard typing, mouse clicking, you name it. I also tested to see if it would pick up my voice if I was on the far side of the room (about six feet or so) and it had no issue. Now for the really good news, if you use Discord for voice, it just so happens their software has built-in sound suppression and boy does it work well. It works so well in fact that people I'm in the channel with hear only my clear voice when I talk, no noise from the rest of the room and no key presses or clicking from my mouse. Its still weird getting used to having a detached mic that I don't have to worry about positioning it in front of my mouth, it feels freeing. So if you are just using the mic without any third party software that has sound suppression like Discord, this is probably a three star mic, works well in a quiet room with no other sound pollution. BUT if you are using third party software this easily becomes a five star product, so it might be fair to meet in the middle and give it four stars but because it has allowed me to meet the specific use case I was trying to achieve I'm giving it the full five stars.

This a first class generic microphone.
This has been my daily driver at work for several years. Great microphone. Period. Not great for the money, this is just great. Great for zoom calls, work calls, webex, slack huddles etc. I would consider this a first class generic microphone. I challenge musicians to try this mic and see what they think.

Cheap but good
Apparently quite clear from what listeners tell me. Not accurate enough for broadcasting but just right for Zoom calls. Small enough that you can just pick it and sit back on your chair or place it on your desk.

Solid microphone, dominant in its price range.
At the $20 price point, this microphone shines extremely bright among the competition.PROS: It provides clear sound quality at a variety of distances. It is extremely light and compact, smaller than my hand, and is easy to pack away or store for traveling. The ease of use makes it incredibly simple. Plug the USB into your laptop or PC and choose the microphone in your sound settings and voila! You’re done.CONS: While they are few and far between, there are a couple negatives about the microphone but it’s nothing that wouldn’t be expected at this price.Without a pop filter, sharp consonants like the letter p are fairly harsh when using the mic. Also, the sound quality itself isn’t quite as impressive as a Blue Snowball or Blue Yeti, but those microphones are far more expensive ($50 and $100, respectively), so it’s to be expected.OVERALL: This is a phenomenal entry level microphone for anyone looking to get into podcasting, starting a YouTube channel, or needing a mic for online gaming. Thanks to it’s small design, solid build quality, and great for its price sound quality, I rate this microphone 5 out of 5 stars!5/5. Review submitted on July 19, 2019. Will update in the future if new problems (or unforeseen pros) arise!

What 2 KNOW
Works ok but not very strong - - you cannot get too close to it or it will not record properly. At least 8 inches works best for me! Use full volume unless you have an AMP

Sounds far better than the laptop mic or any of my bluetooth headphones
The new FiFine USB Micrphone sounds far better than the laptop's mic or any of my bluetooth headphones. I'm using this mic connected to a MacBook Pro for VoIP phone calls and Zoom meetings. I've been told by others on the calls that I sound much better using this FiFine USB Microphone, compared to the mic built into my various headphones. This microphone seems well made and durable. It has a solid feel and does not take us much room on my desk as you can see in the photo. (The mic can be seen to the left of the box). I like that this mic is shorter than other brands and it does not block the view of my monitor or get in my way. The packaging was nice and includes detailed instructions in the box. I believe the price is justified, however there are some similar microphones with a mute button for a few dollars less. I'd prefer if this mic had a mute button (it does not), but the sound quality is more important to me, and is the reason I chose this mic over the others.

The little mic that could
My computer's microphone failed during a zoom meeting and I purchased this one to fill in. It worked like a dream, and the price was reasonable.
