I love my little quickmelt furnace, I've worked with a few other furnaces that were prettier, fancier looking, but not one came close to heating up as fast and as hot as the Quickmelt pro line. I mean, do you want your furnace to look good, sitting up on the entetainment center when your not using it, or do you want your furnace ready to melt some gold, in less than five minutes from turning it on ? My next Quickmelt furnace, will be the open door on the Front unit, with shelves. I won't ever need a crucible again, I can just fill my molds with a measured weight of silver shot,Put it in the furnace, pull it out of the oven let it cool, and shazam, instant ingots ! Wow, I forgot to mention the customer service treatment, They really aim to satify, and to make sure you're happy with their product ! Just ask for The top dog, Ken, tell him, NYJohn sent you !!! Not sure it was built to last, however it does heat up quick. My biggest problem was the supplier didn't ship it tell after I was supposed to have it.

This is a great little furnace that can melt tin, lead, zinc, aluminum, and copper. This unit is well labeled and has good dirrections, which is important for the temperatures it works at, and the fumes it can create if the metals your melting have plastic or paint coatings.

$800 for the furnace and accessories. 90 dollars for 120 oz crucible. Used the furnace 10 times and literally verything has broke on it. For all the replacement parts it's $250 dollars. It's 100% not worth buying. I'm buying a propane furnace that's not supplied by PMC. -100/05 star review👎
