Q: what size stick do these need?

stick length depends on your specific arm length, but i buy 1/4" dowling which i think is 36" long. The wings need to stretch tight when you fully extend your arms., and the stick should extend up your arm a few inches for better control. lf you have see-through wings, l buy clear plastic sticks from lowes curtain department!

You can grip the rods easy no mater your arm length. It’s your height that matters. You’ll trip and it will drag if it’s too long.

No they are solid no splits in the back
