Best office chair I've ever owned!
FIVE AND HALF YEAR UPDATE: Yes, I still have this chair and use it daily for many hours. Here's how it's held up. I haven't had any more parts replaced since the last update. I still say it's the best office chair of I've ever owned. It's certainly still in use longer than any office chair I've owned. The arms just will not stay tight. I find my self re-tightening them at least once a week, and even tight they still wobble a bit. That is probably the most annoying thing though. The leather in the bottom and back has held up great. No cracks or tears. Even on the arm rests has held up pretty well but starting to crack right on the edges. Honestly, if this chair had memory foam in the bottom I'd probably keep it another 5 years. I'd say overall I've more than gotten my moneys worth. I'll keep it around, but I'm in the mood for a new chair. I'll see what Serta has these days first.COMING UP ON TWO YEARS: I still say it's the best office chair I've owned so far, but the mechanical assembly again is going to need to be replaced under warranty. It's wobbly again, and pops very loudly every time you sit in it like it's about to break at any time. This will be the second mechanical replacement under warranty, we'll see if it goes as smooth as the first one. I also have a hard time still keeping the screws that hold the arms on tight. I tighten them at least every week if not more often. It's still comfortable however and so far is lasting longer than any office chair I've owned, and I've had many.UPDATE: I forgot to come back and update on the issue. Manufacturer replaced the mechanical assembly AND chair seat under warranty no questions asked! Bumping back to 5 stars. Gas pressure lift still working just fine. Since I have discovered they make wheels for office chairs that use the same wheels as inline skates. They are all over Amazon and I HIGHLY recommend ordering some, they are relatively cheap! I'll never own another office chair without putting those wheels on them. So much better than the plastic casters all office chairs come with and great if you have a hard floor!ONE YEAR UPDATE: 09/04/16:Original review below. I'm dropping a star pending finding out if I can get warranty honored. Just like every other office chair I've owned, the mechanical mechanism gets "loose" for lack of a better way to describe it, so it wobbles from side to side, and this chair has done that too. I posted originally hoping that the gas mechanism would hold up long term, and so far it has, but I've got to contact them about getting a warranty replacement for the mechanical assembly. Depending on how that goes, I may be back dropping more stars. Also, the chair cushion has flattened out quite a bit and not near as comfy as it was when I got it.ORIGINAL REVIEW:I'm a big guy, 6" 2' and about 290#. I have gone through a lot of chairs from the office box stores over the last 10 years. Even bought the big and tall versions they offered. They ALL failed. So much so I started buying the extended warranties offered just to get an exchange replacement in store. 90% of the time it's the hydraulic lift that fails. If it's not that, it's the mechanical part underneath getting wobbly. Padding never holds up.Based on the reviews here I bought this one, and yes its a lot more expensive, most expensive office chair I've ever bought, and it was totally worth it so far. Obviously I don't know about longevity yet, but it's the most comfortable chair I've ever had by several magnitudes. Assembling it, it was apparent the construction was heavier duty than any I've owned before, including the big and tall ones commonly found in the box stores. Make no mistake this is a heavy chair, you'll likely need help assembling it.It feels good and solid and comfy. My significant other is tall but skinny, only 120# and she even loves it so much she's thinking about getting one. We both work on our computers and spend a great deal of time sitting in these chairs, so you can't underestimate the value of a good, comfy, sturdy chair. There is one negative about it. I can't keep the arm bolts tight. I've found I'm having to retighten them nearly every day. I'm going to get some locktite on them and that should take care of it, they might consider including a little sample tube with the chair to put on those during assembly. But the chair is so nice otherwise I'm not even going to take away a star for that one.

Takes some breaking in, but great with a little patience.
This chair is fantastic. I've owned many computer chairs trying to find one that I liked. This chair takes a few days to break it, but that's a good sign that it will last. The arms are a little wobbly because the foam is getting caught on the bolt and turning it back. I assembled the chair to see if I liked it. Then I removed the armrests and put super glue on the bolts and poked the foam out of the way with the provided alan wrench. Then reattached, and the arms no longer wobble. The foam cushioning is very high quality and the chair comes with some extra foam for the lumbar region if you need it, I did not. My one actual complaint is that I'm 6'3" 230lbs and the top part of the chair is a little too short, it wants to support my upper back far too low. However it breaks in as well, and conforms to your back and now it's perfect. Everyone that I've let sit in this chair has been nothing but impressed. I would highly recommend even with the minor flaws.

So far, so good
One Month Review:First off, the only downside thus far. The arms came a little scuffed up on the plastic. Not too noticeable, but there are definite scuff marks. That being said, that was the only issue with the product.Onto the what you're here to read. I like the chair so far. I've purchased three different chairs over the last 18 months. The first was a placeholder and was okay for the $60 I paid for it. The next one broke after a week, and the third was uncomfortable within a month of owning it. I researched a ton of chairs and they all had complaints of the seat going flat, including this one. So, I decided to take a risk anyway due to the inner springs on this seat. So far, I'm liking this chair. The seat has not compressed on me after a month of use. The rocker seems sturdy and the lumbar support is just the right amount for me. I'm a software developer and author, so I sit in my chair between 9-15 hours a day and I don't get up stiff and sore like my other chair. My only complaint is the arms are a bit wide for my frame and mildly uncomfortable for my 5'8 size. I'm sure a taller man or woman wouldn't have that issue. My feet do hit the floor nicely. A shorter person might have issues with that. I'm also not sure the faux leather will hold up to abuse, but so far, the chair is holding up and the stitching is holding.I'll come back in six months to leave my impressions.
