Wet/Dry Shaver is GREAT!
Last week, after shaving with a razor, I decided that I no longer had the ability to do the acrobatic moves required to shave my legs in the tub. I came out looking like a murder victim with blood running down my legs. So I finally broke down and bought this razor in the hopes of easier shaving. I purchased this one because of the lower price combined with well over 300 decent reviews. A product with that many good reviews means it is liked, and is a decent enough design to hold its own against the more expensive electric razors out there. (One reviewer mentioned some other razor, saying everyone would like it better, but the cost was three times of this one with MUCH WORSE reviews, and I could not warrant over a hundred dollars for it.)It showed up yesterday in its nice little box. After reading reviews of how it plugged directly into the wall, I had already purchased a short extension cord for it to plug into, now it can sit on the counter. I followed the instructions about charging it for 12 hours. (All Good equipment with batteries tells you to do that.) Then today is the first time I ever used an electric razor in my 40+ years. The first thing I wish to say to everyone complaining about an electric razor not being as close as a blade. NO ELECTRIC RAZOR WILL CUT AS CLOSE AS A BLADE! But this one is real close, if you work at it a bit. The first time over my legs I used a light touch and it left a bit of stubble. So I went over it again, slowly and experimenting with pressure and direction to see how close of a shave I could get. While it does not feel baby butt smooth it did a real good job. I have only used this dry and I will update once I use it wet.PROS: It comes apart for easy cleaning and future replacement of blades. Can be used wet. Until I started looking for this razor I did not know there was such a thing as a wet use electric razor, YEA! The charger sits nicely on the counter with the extension cord I bought for it, but even if I did not have the cord, the unit snaps securely in the charger and dose not fall out unless you were to knock it onto something. It lightweight and easy to use. I do not understand peoples complaints about the buttons, they have a little locking button to push before sliding it up and the design of the unit would make them very difficult to break them off. The Pivoting head makes it easier to reach those annoying areas (like under the knees.) [When using a blade you have to keep it at a constant angle to not cut yourself.] Comes with a bikini attachment (I have yet to try,) and nice clear plastic cover to protect the heads from dust and other things. It has the "GOOD HOUSEKEEPING" seal of approval on it. I am NOT spending $15 on my replacement blades every few months which sometimes end up rusty in my shower. I do NOT have to shave in the tub doing acrobatics.Another PRO: I was able to purchase an extended warranty for two years for an additional nine dollars. For me, it is well worth paying that little extra for when unknown problems arise.CONS: UM... It was not FREE! (But then if it were, I doubt it would be as good of a product.) It did not come with any sort of way to keep all the components together when not in use, but that is an easy fix I will go get a little makeup bag to store it in....PROBLEM SOLVED :<) It does seem a bit rough on the skin, but nothing major. It may be a problem if you have super sensitive skin, but I have a skin which is a little sensitive and I did not notice any adverse effects from using it. This also could be from my inexperience of using an electric razor. ITS PINK!!!! Well, more of a pink purple, but still very pink.All-in All, I fully recommend this electric razor to anyone who needs an inexpensive decent razor to use, UNLESS you want want a shave that works like a blade, then I recommend that you save your money and stick with blades. For anyone wanting a CLOSER shave, there are the masochistic epilators, or the one shaver which actually burns and removes the hair (for three easy payments of $$$...AS SEEN ON TV... What ever brand that is), or laser removal. Anyway, it works for my needs, and it is a KEEPER!Good Luck.

No irritation! Not the closest shave but does the job
EDITED: After using for several months I broke it by dropping it a few too many times and ran to Walgreens to pick up a replacement, they didn't have this model so I got the ES 2207 P and it is WAY BETTER. Way closer shave with still hardly any irritation, the trimmer gets out way way more hair on my thighs and bikini line and never once snagged it painfully like the ES2216PC did. I'd still say the ES2216PC is a good razor, but I'm definitely super excited about my replacement.I've been using this for about a month and so far it is working pretty well. I will say that it misses longer hairs, and with the long hair extension it can pull painfully in some areas. I think in the summer when I am shaving more frequently it may be more effective. I don't even understand how the bikini trimmer attachment is supposed to work. I mean I am a fairly intelligent person who read all the directions and literally no hair comes out when I use it. I have never used an electric shaver before and I didn't realize how time consuming it is to shave my legs with one. I shone the flashlight on my phone onto my legs and it illuminated all the hairs it had missed and I was able to get better coverage that way, but even so there are a few it just can't get. Plus ain't nobody got time to be that thorough on a normal day! All that said, I am a redhead with insanely sensitive skin and extremely thick hair prone to ingrown hairs and razor burn, and with using this I have had neither. Before if I wanted to wear shorts without little red irritation spots I had to do a rain dance, pray, massage my legs with peacock feathers, and hope that my skin was having a happy day. I am STOKED to use this in the summer because though it does not give you as close of a shave as a normal razor it keeps your legs visibly smooth with zero irritation, which is all you need most of the time for wearing shorts and stuff. If I am wearing a bikini I would definitely use my regular razor to get a super close shave though. But overall this is making my skin SO much happier.
