Great quality for excellent price
I've used chia for 20+ years and tried many brands. This one compares favorably in quality and price. I use it for everything from chia puddings (cacao and avocado with Madagascar vanilla's my fave), egg substitute (especially when dredging in potato starch for frying to get that crispiness and low glycemic index), fridge jams, add to lemon water helping hydration last, chia fresca (guilty pleasure), thicken sauces, etc. Except for calories there seems no down side. It effortlessly fits in my lifestyle with clean eating and maintaining gut health. I recommend this product.

You must boil
It’s a fine Chia seed. It’s a chia seed. Not sure why I had in my head I’ve had white chia before. Maybe I confused them with quinoa but nonetheless they are fine. The one caveat I learned is in order for them to swell and become gelatinous you MUST pour boiling water on them and allow them to sit awhile. If it’s not boiling many will stay dry like. Hot water? Not good enough, it must be boiling. I do not have this with regular. Usually 20 minutes in tepid water and they’re ready. Would I buy them again? Probably not. Not that they aren’t good just don’t see the point and the cost as well would keep me from purchasing again

White Chia Seeds by Yupik!
I love adding these to yogurt or my protein drink or just add a little water for a quick pudding. It turns out that 2 pounds is a perfect amount for 1 month and the zip lock top that Yupik uses is brilliant! I will keep ordering regularly, either white or black.

Great keto alternative to oatmeal
I missed having overnight oats for breakfast once I started keto, but then I found a recipe for chia seed pudding made with unsweetened almond milk and vanilla that sets up overnight in the fridge. The white chia seeds swell up and resemble tapioca pudding. I like to make up a batch for the week. It's a very versatile recipe and you can put any sort or fruit or flavoring in it. I like to mix in a couple of tablespoons of pureed pumpkin and some pumpkin pie spice with a little monkfruit sweetener, then a handful of keto granola. I don't even miss the overnight oats anymore!

Hole/ improper seal
I’m sure the seeds themselves will be fine, but the bag had a hole, or wasn’t sealed properly, and the package that the bag of seeds was in had seeds leaking out when I picked it up, and there was a tablespoon of seeds loose in the package. I also don’t remember in the description of this product that there possibly are peanuts, tree nuts, coconut and soy.

Good stuff
I make chia pudding daily on my high protein, low carb diet. I use protein shake (about a cup) and about 1-2 tblsp chia seeds (I never measure). Stir well and refrigerate for a few hours or overnight for a great high protein pudding with added fiber and other nutrients.
