Great power bar for your desk, which includes USB and network ports
Very glad I found this power bar on Amazon. I was looking at an alternative vendor, and the price was over twice as much. I was hesitant to buy, as cheaper isn't always best, but in this case I made the right decision.Easy to set-up, comes with the allen key, and works as you'd expected. Only needs a cm of space between wall and desk as well.*** Pros ***- Very easy to fit- Comes with allen key- Space under socket for larger plugs (Mac charger fits with loads of space)- USB sockets are really helpful- RJ45 sockets can be removed and changed- RJ45 sockets are CAT 6- HDMI slot can be removed and changed, and has a spare slot that you might be able to use for something else- Does not budge on the desk - very solid fit- Easy to move if you need to (undo two allen bolts lightly and then slide it along)*** Cons ***- Cable is only 1.5 metres long, so make sure it works with your desk / space

Safe, Sturdy & Strong
Love the design of this socket extension. The moment you switch it on, there’s a quality feel from the on/off power switch. Sockets feel precise & positive with little chance of misalignment. Mains cable is thicker than most other extensions, which is reassuring as you know it can handle it's maximum voltage with ease, in fact it has a over voltage protection. Love the mains cable length, and it’s position from the rear of unit. All in all, this is one of, if not the best extension I’ve ever installed. Excellent product & quality, with reassuring safety built in.

Great desktop extension for working from home
I'm using the Elbe 3 Way extension (UK plugs) in my home office and it has made my space so much more workable than before as it attaches easily to my standing desk. The Ethernet and HDMI pass-through ports are a godsend for me as I need to swap out consumer electronics for development/testing and previously would need to pick the light-weight boxes off the floor when I'd knock the cable.I would have liked USB to also be pass-through ports or a USB hub (as these are also needed for the products I work on) so I still to bend down to connect those to my PC. 3 unswitched plugs and small lead could also be a problem in future. This was the best overall solution I could find though and I knew those limitations at the time of purchase so would not hesitate to recommend.

Socket to me
delivered on time -easy to install -please check dimensions of hole in your desk as i knew i would have to modify mine (easily done by using two hole-saws at the same time-actual size of hole and size you need to increase too)- decent sized lead and the addition of two usb charging points a bonus

great way to add sockets anywhere on your worktop etc just drill the correct size hole inset the unit and tighten it up underneath the worktop ,

Need improvement in the designed
It looks nice on the kitchen top. The bad side is the orientation of the sockets . In my opinion the positive and negative or the two holes should have been on the bottom ( not the top). It would have given it strength and would not have been on awkward position to plug in. I do not why other people noticed it. Need improvement.

Excellent Desk Solution
This desktop mountable strip is brilliant for a hotdesk in an office environment - it can be mounted, and all relevant wires routed neatly down the bottom of the desk (or wherever they need to be).Mounting is extremely sturdy - once tightened, it's not going anywhere. It's not going to slide off if pushed with force. The construction material is sturdy and it's not going to get damaged easily. The only concerns are for the two Ethernet ports and the HDMI port. Whilst the ports themselves are sturdy, the plastic mounts that support the ports, do display some movement and there could be concerns if the ports are used regularly. (the ports themselves look like keystone mounted ports - just something to note! Replacing should be easy if they are). This isn't a concern for us as the ports are wired to a docking station. The entire setup is nice and neat on the desk. Previously, there was a 4-gang extension on the floor behind the desk, and long Ethernet and HDMI leads trailing behind and around the desk. Now, everything has been sent under the floor, and up the side of the desk. The power lead length (@ 1.5m) could have done with being longer but we got around this by removing the plug (plug is removable, and not moulded - this is useful), and getting an electrician to extend the wire with junction boxes. Wire was routed under the floor. This has now eliminated the 4-gang extension previously on the floor and stopped us from daisy-chaining them together (frowned upon in office environments). All in all, an excellent solution if you're willing to do a little wire work to make the setup tidy. There doesn't seem to be anything else of similar build on the market unless you get a specialist desktop mounted conduit with backboxes and frontplates to suit, fitted by an electrician (this will cost much, much more). That being said, we still felt the price of £49.99 was a little on the high side for what it is but this is still less in cost than a setup installed by an electrician, and that's just the way it goes for business grade kit!

Easy, neat and tidy fit
The socket fits and works really well. When closed it stands about 7/8 mm above the surface of the worktop, the top of the fitting surrounds the base and the base is fitted with a (I think) a silicon seal which should prevent accidental spillages going down into the worktop. I found the most difficult thing about the fitting was plucking up the courage to cut/drill a large hole in the worktop but after multiple measuring it went really well.
