I love to use this product after I have dried my hair. It takes away the frizziness from drying and any flyaways. I recommend only using a little and increasing as needed. My hair is thin and shoulder length and I use an amount about the size of a nickel to a quarter in the palm of my hand. I then rub my hands together and apply the product to my hair, being sure to get the ends. I have been using this product for about three years.

I'm a big fan of Rusk deep shine serum and I would say this is a similar product. It's priced comparably and works just as well, but probably just as a matter of habit I prefer the Rusk in texture and scent.While the price is probably off-putting at first, when used properly this bottle should last you at least several months. You don't need much of this at all; if you apply too much to your hair you'll weigh it down considerably so less is more when using a shine serum. Less is definitely more.I like that this product doesn't leave a heavy feeling on my hands or in my hair; the texture is on the thinner side and it absorbs similar to a dry oil, so there's no major residue left behind. The scent is nice and light but a little common with a lot of citrus notes; to me one of the best things about Rusk's deep shine product is that it imparts a luxurious, salon-type scent to my hair. The fragrance, softness, and shine of my hair all combines to leave me feeling like it's an expensive experience worthy of the asking price. For the price point, I'd like to see the scent be a little more adventurous and linger a little longer, but otherwise I'm happy with this shine serum and will be recommending it to others.

If you are a man who has really thick and coarse hair like me and want a easy, simple way to promote softness of your hair this product is fantastic. You don't use a lot and it goes a long way.

Maybe it's just my hair but I've never seen shine drops do anything for my hair - regardless of brand. If I put on after my hair's been styled, it just makes my style look limp no matter how little I use.
