Don't buy this soap or any of Nesti Dante's soaps if you hate perfumed toiletries. The fragrance is strong and complex; one cake will permeate your whole bathroom or linen closet. (For me, that's a good thing.) However, it does not linger long on the skin after rinsing (also a good thing). The cake is enormous -- probably too big for a standard American soap dish. It lathers up instantly and luxuriously, with a creamy foam that feels silken on your skin and leaves it soft, not dried out. Even the wrapper is upscale. While the price makes it seems like a splurge, one cake lasts a long time and I figure that anything that makes me feel like an Italian movie star is money well spent.

I bought this soap in London and was so sad when it was gone. I looked it up on amazon and they had it!!! I ordered 2 of them. A little pricey but well worth it they last a while and have the best scent!!!

Absolutely love this product! The smell is amazing and it makes my skin so incredibly soft! Even my husband noticed how soft my skin was without telling him about my new soap! Highly recommend!

Years ago , when I worked at Dean & deLuca, I bought this upon the recommendation of the buyer. I was astounded over the value of the tomato soup - I used it on my hair; I was so hot! What colour, albeit temporary. After years of not having it... I forgot the name... here it is on Amazon. I got the fig and almond. What a luxury! I still smell clean after 2 years of washing. The time it takes to do the milled is well worth it. I just got the second bar. Buy it!

This soap is some of the most potent smelling soap out there. It smells gorgeous - unopened ones work almost as room fresheners! The quality of the soap is fantastic - it uses nice ingredients without some of the chemicals in US made soaps. While it's expensive, it's definitely worth having as a treat.

Love this soap so much! I use it in place of shower gels I used in the past. It is not drying to my skin and it smells so yummy. I pretend I'm in Italy when I'm in the shower. Only negative is that it is pricey, but worth it to me.
