Just ok overall but too many flaws for over $100. Capable sheath on mine
Look, for over a foot long of pattern welded steel and where you're probably buying it, it is ok. But 100 bucks is a lot for a lot of people. See all the flaws in the pics to see if it's worth it to you. Not quite parallel in central ridge, the ricarsso is very high/wide so less sharpening done than the bait sample. AND the chip in one of the edges is accompanied by one stress fracture, fortunately not all the way. Probably won't pass "Forged" the show. You could use it but for how many times, I wouldn't know. I'm just collecting it. My thought? Pay more and get a better pattern welded dagger somewhere, or get a Cold Steel, Ka bar, Ontario, or what else. unless you want to take a chance. It does look very nice on a stand. I may or may not return it. 73% recommended.

I was very unhappy with quality of knife. I sent it back for a refund
There are MUCH better products in same price point with other makers. Very poor attention to detail and this one was terribly ground and proportions were off bigtime. Barely look like sample in picture.I am not happy and I am sending it back.

100% real Damascus from tip to pommel
I read a ton of reviews about this blade before ordering and I saw some some pretty bad pics of minor to major imperfections on blade or handle so I was worried that I would get a shoddy blade too.But no, when my blade arrived I inspected it under a bright light and could not find one single imperfection. I mean this blade is literally perfect. It easily shaved my forearms with all sides of both too and bottom edges.Coils of handle were pristine. Pommel is beautiful and can just barely tell where they attached the pommel to end of the tang. And on top of all of this it is actually real Damascus steel. 352 layers of 1095 and another steel that I can’t remember rn.I’ve had this beautiful steel for a few weeks now and have been trying to dull the blade with just a lot of normal use. It is not easy to dull the blade. Its edge retention is friggin amazing.I love the spiraled handle but was a lil bit slippery so I got out my stash of quality leather and wrapped the handle in 1.5mm black leather using a strip of black leather just barely over a 1/2 inch wide. It’s not slippery at now and looks even more bada$$!The sheath is just ok. But with a True Damascus dagger like this, a handmade sheath is made for your particular needs is a must because the sheath it came with is thin and allows the handle and pommel to “get in the way” if attached to your belt cuz they just set too high.It has good sized finger guards so that adds to it being able to use safely. And being 352 layer Damascus it is surely durable and should last a lifetime with proper care.I have 4 other Damascus knives from this exact same company, 2000 Pals or something like that and each one of them is a work of art and handmade in Pakistan which 1000 times better than being manufactured in China.I have over 1,200 knives in my blades collection and I am happy to say that this definitely falls within the top 10 knives I own and quite possibly could be in the top 5 blades I own. This would be a great gift to any knife collector although it is not packaged for gifting but rather is packaged for protection and covered in oil and plastic wrap. Despite that it would still be an excellent gift.I rarely get all geeked up about a knife or any product but the quality and beauty of this handmade true Damascus knife has me being a fan-boy big time. This is a new emotion for me. I think that says a lot about this blade.

Attractive novelty knife.
The Damascus double edged knife appears to be well made. Handle is solid comfortable to grip. The Damascus steel is attractive and the blade is pretty large so that it feels closer to a sword. The blade has a decent sharp edge and has some heft to it.I didn’t find any defects in it from my inspection.

Your money's worth and no more
Pros: proper spring temper and sharp enough to cut paper (but not shave). Flippin' HUGE knife, it is a small sword in reality. Real pattern welded steel, lovely pattern and looks just like the picture. the leather sheath is outstanding, double welted, top grain leather well done hand engraving.Cons: had an occlusion (large pit) dead center on the spine of the blade and two very small ones on the ricasso, must have been a flaw in forging. traces of glue all around the hilt. moderately sloppy grinds, definitely done by eye by a guy in a hurry to punch out. Conclusion: you're getting a real knife that will perform, but let's get real- this is an art piece designed to gloat over and look at. The flaws mean you can't trust it with your life but nobody's going to ever do that with one of these. for $50, it's worth the money for a very cool, way over the top, decent chunk of properly (mostly) forged pattern welded steel
