The proof is in the pudding. It just works!
This product literally saved my day. 100 mile ride, rainy and cold, I was praying to not get a flat, as it would have been a pain to patch or change my tube in those conditions. Once I got home, I noticed a staple going into the tire. When I pulled it out, the Slime leaked a bit and immediately sealed the leak. See picture. Not sure when the puncture happened, but I probably rode dozens of miles with that stable stabbed into my tire and tube and it still held the pressure to the point that I finished the ride without noticing anything.

Make sure you shake it!!
I want to give you all a piece of advice that is not on the label…..SHAKE IT WELL!! I bought this to fill 3 tires (the 4th had slime in the tube when I bought it) the first 2 tires went easy. The last tire not so much. It was the consistency of sludge. I noticed an abundance of black beads. I’m guessing that is what fills the holes.UPDATE****This is definitely a 5 star product. I left in what I wrote above as a tip.I was loading my bike onto my bike rack after riding. I had to dig out 4 burrs! Normally 1 would puncture my tire. I’m glad I purchased it and would do so again.

Seals punctures but still loses air. Difficult to estimate how much was placed into the tube
I decided to try this out after getting some annoying flats on my RadRunner (of course always on the rear tire, and the rear tire is majorly annoying to remove due to electric wiring). However, I used it first on my regular Specialized bike with 700x38C tires. I got a pretty normal small puncture flat without the slime, so I experimented by filling around 4-5 oz into the tube after the puncture. I did note that it seemed very "liquidy" and not very slimy in the bottle, but after shaking it a few times, it seemed to become more "gooey". Due to the green coloring of the slime staining the bottle, it's a bit difficult to know how much you put in as you can't really see the line too well. I think I only put in maybe 3 oz on the first try and after spreading around the slime in the tube and inflating it, there was still a leak. I put in maybe another 2 oz, spread it around again, and inflated it again, and it appeared the leak was sealed up. I then squeezed the rest of the bottle (around 10-11oz) into the rear tube on my ebike. The tube with the slime-sealed puncture seemed to hold air very well and did not seem to lose air any faster than normal. A few days later, I got another puncture on that same tube, but it deflated during the ride. After pumping it back to recommended pressure a few minutes later, it did seem to reseal itself. My suggestion is to keep a spare pump or CO2 cartridges on hand, because I don't think the slime seals up instantly. In terms of cycling, I did not notice any need for increased effort due to weight or drag of the slime on the tube. However, please note that I only used the slime on rear tires (as I only ride on roadways and literally have had only one front flat in over 15 years of active riding). In conclusion, shake bottle before using, use a gram scale to figure out how much you put in the tube, and carry a portable pump because the sealing action appears to be delayed. I will update if I have any new findings.
