I have experience with contact paper and this is THE BEST QUALITY and DURABILITY and even TEXTURE and LOOK!!! Most often if there is a bubble, you have to pull it up and smooth the bubbles but this brand I don’t even have to do that. Just slide your card/squeegee and the bubbles disappears. It also has a really good texture/feel on it that doesn’t feel cheap. If you make a mistake (which you will), you can easily pull it off and redo it MULTIPLE TIMES and it will still STICK unlike other brands. After spending 5 days doing our kitchen cabinets here are my takeaways:• use squeegee or a large card, the bigger the better and easier for you to stick it nice and without bubbles• don’t need to do windex trick on this brand• use x-acto knife! it will save you time• use hair dryer for round corners or edges if needed• the design does match as shown on our kitchen I was able to match and connect the top of the cabinets really nicely

I used this giant sticker for both my countertops and my cabinet fronts, which are just bare plywood cut to size, but this finish made them look perfectly intentional. It seems durable, but is slightly prone to scratches. I bought plenty of extra to simply replace the countertop periodically, as it’s renter-friendly and inexpensive. The application was straightforward and I did fine installing it by myself with a credit card and an Exacto knife. The paper is able to be pulled up if you made mistakes as you applied. It isn’t one of those “you’re stuck with the first try” kind of adhesives, but seems very solid now that it’s down. Waterproof and great looking. I’m so happy with how upscale this made my once-ugly rental kitchen look!2 YEAR UPDATE: I'm still thrilled with how my countertop is wearing! I expected to have to replace it yearly, but it looks basically the same as the day I put it in two years ago. There is no peeling anywhere and the surface is unstained by food. The corner where I placed and run my air fryer several times a week continuously for years has yellowed from the heat, but I could have prevented this by giving the appliance room to vent while in use. I'm fairly careful not to put screaming hot pans directly on the finish. I can't recommend this film enough!

The only star I took away is the thickness. This film is too thin. It’s easy to install, but when I did adjust (remove and apply) to make sure I got the right place. The film actually stretched became more thin. Overall, the pattern looks real if you don’t pay close attention to it.

Update*** Product truly held up the test of time. Had it on for about 2 years with heavy kitchen counter use. We have since replaced our counters. As my original review stated, awesome product for the purpose I needed it for.Wanted a quick update for our countertops until the pocket change is there for new counters.After browsing DIY ideas I came across this product.I was super hesitant as I did not anticipate great results.We cannot speak to durability of the product yet, but if you take your time, have a credit card and blade: you're in business!The 2 counters took me about 3 hours because it took me a while to get a hang of how to use it.I can tell you it is very forgiving and easy to work with. Give it a try! We love it.Will update if I notice any issues with durability. But D-C Fix seems like it's the brand to go with.Make sure you have enough product. Had 2 of the wide width rolls and had less than 3 inches of material left (2 counters)

This looks SO GOOD. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality. There is even a wood-like texture that looks really nice. I had to order two rolls since one roll was not wide enough to cover the top of my desk and the pieces lined up seamlessly. In the pictures I’ve included there is a 3-4 inch strip where I used pieces from two different rolls and you seriously cannot see the difference/line between the two. I took my time very carefully applying it and the adhesive backing was pretty forgiving if you need to pull it back up and re-do it. There was some bubbling (to be expected) but carefully slicing the bubbles with a craft knife evened everything out.10/10 would buy again. Made my $30 IKEA desktop look incredible.

I ordered 2 rolls initially. Used 1 for a project and it worked out great! The color is really beautiful! I decided to order 2 more rolls and do a bigger project since I liked it so much. The 2 new rolls don’t match my first order. At all! The labels say their exactly the same product and color, but you can see from the picture the light roll is from my initial order, the 2 dark brown rolls are from the new order. What a waste! Who knows what you’re going to get when you order this product. I would of given it 5 stars based off my initial order for how well the product works and how pretty and realistic it looks.

I had tried a different brand before this, which was such poor quality, I returned it, so compared to this one.... this one is by far MUCH better quality with much more forgiving adhesion!! The material is not too thin and it didn’t get stuck on my fingers, which is impressive, but sticks to the back of my bookshelves perfectly! Very easy to peel off to adjust and fix those air bubbles. Plus, the wooden texture helps in getting edges to blend together so well, that it looks seamless! I’ve included a close up at the seam. Great product! I’m very happy with the results. Also, realize the color in real life is a bit lighter than in the first photo.

I modified my all black desk with this and it turned out really great! The adhesive and quality of this contact paper is great! It is nice and thick and was easy to cut and apply. If you need help on applying contact paper, there are plenty of videos online that will show you how. My project was fairly easy because it was a flat and rectangular shaped surface. I really like the look of the oak light wood. I would definitely buy this brand again!
