I normally wear a 5.5 or a size 6 shoe depending on who makes them, I bought these socks to wear with my jeans in stead of white socks or multi color footies and I must say that I can see why some say they run small. I bought the small and they fit perfect for my small feet, it's like buying a kids size for a size 8.9 in a girls size shoe. If you can not wear your young granddaughter's shoes, they are going to run to small on you. The top textured part of the sock should not run on the heel of the foot, if they do, they are too small. The price is reasonable and the quality is good, I would buy them again but wash them in color water to keep the color from fading.

The socks deserve five stars for quality. They’re thick, nice and long, and well-made. They feel soft and stretchy, so I’m sure they’d be comfortable. Unfortunately, the online photo made them look much darker than they are. I can’t use this color.

Held up well for 4 weeks of fall ball. Color was what we expected. They weee a little long, but our daughter is 8 and has skinny legs so we folded them down and they stayed in place.

Great pair of socks and very good quality. Well worth The money.

DEAR YOUTH COACHES - PLEASE READ: please don’t pick super unique colors for your team! Look at the economic situation of most of the parents for your team and take that into consideration when planning. If they are working class lower income…do not make them hunt around on on the internet to find some unique color of hot pink or lime green. Walk into a local low priced retailer (here’s a hint, one goes with a 5 and the other starts with a W) look around and see what colors they have available = AND PICK SOME OF THOSE. Not everyone has the money or time to go hunt down specific socks, belts and other accessories just so ‘your’ team looks super special. Other more common, easy to find (and AFFORDABLE) colors can look great and impactful if used wisely with the the shirt design and pants choice.That being said, the pink color is cute and it’s a true hot pink, these are a soft but have cushion, color is great, they don’t irritate my daughters legs by cutting into them and leaving painful elastic marks. They have a very soft grip and feel. Sized correctly for youths, socks that don’t go over the dang knee but do go up over the calf and stop just below the knee where they should for kids. I wish there were two pairs for ease of use but I’m happy with this purchase.

These are my least favorite socks that I still wear. Adequate, cheap, not the best.

Socks were toooooo tight - got a refund; the design seems off as the top of the socks was rigid and unforgiving
