I love Butter London Sheer Wisdom Nail Tinted Moisturizer! This was my first experience with Butter London products. I tried the light shade. I see some reviewers think the color is too yellow, but I liked it on my nails. It was the easiest nail polish application I have ever done. I just put on one coat, and the nail moisturizer was very ”forgiving”, with no need to clean up the edges like I usually have to with regular polish. The finished look is subtle but with visible peachy color, smooth and a little translucent with just the one coat applied. This stuff is amazingly durable. It’s been a week and there had been zero chipping or peeling, despite me using my nails for things (scrubbing dishes, etc.) that I would’ve hesitated to do with every other nail polish I have ever used in the past. I am going to remove and reapply it anyway but only because my nails are growing out - a new nail polish experience for me, LOL. So far, this is my favorite nail polish ever!

Phenomenal product. Stop hesitating; buy this!I have tried every nail polish under the sun. No matter what polish I used, professionally applied or home-done; gel or regular, it always chipped within a day or two...sometimes within an hour. And let's just not mention the disaster that is acrylics! My nails were weak and broke easily without polish, so I kept trying to find the Holy Grail for nails: a polish that even I could apply, that looked good, that kept my nails from breaking, and that wouldn't harm my nails (looking at you, gel polish!).I do believe I have found that elusive polish. First and foremost: THIS POLISH DOESN'T CHIP!!! It adds just the right amount of shine and subtle color to my nails. It strengthens them enough that they don't break at the slightest knock. And it stays looking nice for almost a week at a time, without needing constant touch-ups!So if you have a drawer full of half-used polishes that just didn't make the grade, throw them all out. This polish is the only one you need!

I have extremely dry nails that break easily. I don't like to wear nail polish all the time because it dries out my nails even more. I found that Butter sheer tinted nail moisturizer gives my nails a soft and pretty look without drying my nails. The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is that it seems to chip easily and not stay on as long as I would like.

I had very high hopes for this product. My nails are fairly healthy and I let the tips grow out maybe 1/8 of an inch. The good news is the polish goes on very smoothly without streaks. Most light colors just don't do that. Kudos on the smooth self-leveling part and it seems to have staying power. The bad news is the polish is VERY orangey/yellow. The black cap also broke off instantly (much like my darker colors of Butter, which I love) and is useless. My tips look discolored and odd. I purchased the neutral, perhaps a color with a bit more pink in it would be in order? Not worth the money for me at least.

First let me say,I NEVER review products. Only reviewing because my nails actually hurt. I’m also embarrassed of the photo I’ve just posted for the world to see, this should magnify how upset I am that I’m posting this photo.Second, my nails have never been the envy of my friends, BUT they sure looked 1000% better before I used Butter products.Third, ‘Normal’ nail polish NEVER stays on my nails no mater how hard I try. ThereforeFourth, I tried Butter products due to the fact they were free of harmful chemicals. And wanted ‘ a polished nail’ for a formal event. Bought about July 17th-ish.Fifth, I bought a ‘crystal glass nail file’ - could this be the cause of horrible nails? I don’t know but I have quit using file and Butter products. I will leave a review for the nail file product as well.Note : I did buy several Butter products. Melt Away/ Cuticle Exfoliator - Nail Foundation/ Priming Basecoat - Tinted Moisturizer.Usage: Melt Away - clean nail - applied Priming base coat alone.Melt Away - clean nail - applied Tinited Moisturizer.Pro: - these products might have stayed on my nails 1 to 2 days longer than most. I did like the natural color/hue of the tinted moisturizer and primer.,Cons: - see photo! Nails are splitting and peeling with no end in sight. Splitting so deep it will take forever to grow out. Wish I had a before photo of my nails. ( no splitting of layers might be the nails some would be envious of)CAN NOT say how mad and dissapointed I am. If the Butter people actually read these reviews - would love for them to get in touch with me. I might be the needle in the hay stack of happy Butter lovers.TO BE FAIR - will let nails grow out then use the “crystal nail file” again (on only one nail) to see if the splitting occurs and then give Butter more stars if I determine the file is the cause.

This nail moisturizer is wonderful! My nails split whenever I put on nail polish and gels would peel right off. I have been using this product for a few weeks with absolutely no problem. No splitting and my nails never looked better. Highly recommend!

very good quality, not sure of the effects though. What is it doing is unclear.

This stuff is the best! I'm in middle age, which means my fingernails are thin, peeling, and ridged due to hormonal changes. This tinted nail moisturizer applies like sheer polish but dries quickly and flawlessly. It does help prevent peeling and allows my nails to grow again. Another plus is that multiple coats look even better than one! It wears very well. I prefer the Fair colorway for my Germanic coloring--I had originally purchased Light, but found it to be quite gold in tone.
