Malta India 12 Fl. Oz Bottles - 6 Pack

Malt drink. Excellent idea. I love malt. It's just bitter enough to be yum.BITTER. yes that is the main idea. I first bought the "other" brand. There are only a couple that sell in 12 ounce bottles. I bought the (Goya Malta) first. And yes, it was good. So I bought a few 6 packs over a couple months. Then after a while, the amazement of the idea of a malt drink, not fermented. That appreciation wore off and I realized. This drink is way to sweet. So I looked and, lo. This drink is made with high fructose corn syrup. It's not for me, nope.So this one I try next (Malta India). It uses cane sugar. And not an abundance of it. It's sweet just enough to let the malt shine through. yumThat "other" brand, did use a couple different kinds of malt than this one. They use, pale malt, and carmel malt. This India brand uses, barley malt. And there is nothing wrong with that. But I do wish they would give me a choice (have a couple different varieties).

GREAT FLAVOR. A LOT OF SUGAR THOUGH. IF YOU HAVE HIGH BLOOD SUGAR BE CAUTIES

I didn't like it that much. The flavor wasn't what I was expecting. But I think is just about what everyone else likes. Just not what I was looking for.

My grandson loved it. He lives in New Hampshire and I live in Florida so I have no idea how it tastes. He says it is outstanding and awesome. Thank you very much.
