Like all studdable winter tires, the studs are not intended to be removed from the tire after they are installed. Theoretically. you could remove the studs, but the tire will not hold another set of studs after that. Not sure why you'd want to do that anyways. These tires can be run year round, provided they are not studded. (Most states have specific months when studded tires are legal to be run) However, expect increased tire wear during non-winter driving. This tire compound is designed for winter temperatures and will wear much quicker if run during the summer months. Bottom line: Run winter tires in the winter and summer tires in the summer to get the best performance and wear from both.
