Q: I know there is a side pocket for a water bottle; does the other side have an elasticized one too? And are they loose enough to easily get them in?

Yes there are pockets on each side/end.......at least on mine they are. While they are fairly secure I don't have any trouble fishing stuff out but they're pretty deep pockets; I use them mostly for pens, gum. Haven't tried them for a water bottle though and expect it might be snug. Love the organization of this purse; I carry a lot but don't like a really big bag.........this is perfect.

their is a side pocket where you can put the water bottle. As for putting a big reading book idk, what are themeasurements? I would say a regular book you can. I just tried it out.

Yes, I ordered the taupe color and it looks more like a light lavender and the strap is a different color ,more what I would call the taupe color I ordered. Not sure what to do !!!!!

Q: Can it carry a travel mug

The sides are not big enough for a travel mug

I love this purse, it is made very well, not cheap looking, plenty of space fits about a 10' wallet, plenty of inside pockets, side pockets for glasses or whatever.. Pocket for any size cellphone.. I like that I can adjust the strap to my liking which is silky to the touch, but sturdy, or wear it across my front. I recommend this product.

Perfect size

Love the silky feel and the nice wide crossbody adjustable strap. There are lots of zippered pockets inside and out giving a place for everything. I need to put in a wallet, sunglasses in a case and regular glasses with a case. No problem. Fits easily.
