Q: Can this be used on my space shuttle? I want to protect the paint against the destructive effects of re-entry into the Earth's atmosphere.

Not sure about space shuttle paint protection, but I once used it to wrap an alien on my last visit to alpha centauri b, turned out very expensive but worked well. Damn thing couldn't move a bit.

Hello,thank you for your question. When Applying the film to a vehicle, you will want to use a soapy solution to help keep the film from immediately adhering to the surface. Once you have the film in place, you then squeegee out the solution from the film. A Heat gun is generally not recommended when initially applying the film.

Q: Does this leave sticky residue after removing off shoes?

Yes it has a self adhesive or glue that would have to be cleaned with adhesive cleaner

Q: How difficult is this to apply without air bubbles and if I don't apply it perfectly the first time, can I remove it and use the same piece again?

Its not hard to apply without bubbles. The material is thick and that is not an issue. Be sure that you wash you hands and the area your going to put it is clean. You can wipe it with denatured alcohol to make sure there is no oil to prevent it adhering. If you are planning on laying the pieces down make sure that area is dust free. When you first apply it if it is not pushed down tightly (But merely laid acoss where you plan on putting it) you can lift it and move it over. It actually is fairly easy to lift once you smooth it out - even after several months. But I don't know if it would reattached after that time. Probably = I had applied it to the top and side of a motorcycle tank and wound up pulling it from the sides after several months.
