Very delicious
This tuna is the most delicious of all the tuna I've eaten. I ordered it in a large package and it just turned out to be worth it. I work out and every time I come back from a workout, it's just easiest for me to open a small tuna and eat it quickly first and keep thinking about what I'm eating later because it sucks up the protein portion I need. It's the most delicious I've eaten to date.

The most delicious tuna ever!
I've been ordering this tuna for a while, even had it on subscription until it was no longer a subscribe item( in this 3 pack version that is) Yes, it is on the expensive side, but it is so delicious, never fishy, or strong tasting ,just right. Additionally, according to the web, Rio Mare falls well below toxic mercury levels. And, contrary to what one reviewer espounded: Katsuwonus pelamis (copied from the label) is Skipjack Tuna [ a lower mercury choice of fish] and NOT Yellowfin Tuna, which is supposed to be at the high mercury end-- which I hated to find out since I love yellowfin too. But, back to this review, never worry about quality with Rio Mare. Consistency is their middle name! I'm fixin to eat some right now!! Taste terrific right from the can.

Similar to FinerFin; a good tuna to try.
It's a fine tuna. Reminds me very much of FinerFin in taste and texture (that's good). Good tuna taste not "overly fishy" other than yes tuna is a fish and it takes like tuna. Fairly solid tuna steak like texture and consistency (thick pieces that hold together on your fork like other restaurant fish as opposed to the "cat food" consistency you get with many cheaper tunas, but there's definitely some of that as well. It's a mixture. It was good but not quite anything mind blowing or that I've never tried before. Still prefer Tonnino Yellowfin (Jalapeno) in the glass jar as my favorite tuna product I've tried so fa but to be fair yellowfin is a whole different class of tuna. So for $6 i guess that's up to the individual if its worth it. Personally I'd just splurge the 50% ($3 more) and get the Tonnino Yellowfin but that's just me. Overall, it was good, I liked it, and may consider purchasing again.

Excellent Quality But Note That These Cans Are Quite Small
This is a high quality product, and I'll blame myself for thinking that this was a standard size tuna can, but you should note before buying it that these cans are rather small (only 2.8 ozs. - a standard can is 5 ozs.) and not the value that you might be expecting.

What you need to know: NOT ITALIAN TUNA! Scam version.
Looking for Italian tuna, solid and beautiful in the can, fragrant and delicious?Keep looking, this stuff is crumbly, packed in Colombia, flavorless and has never been in Italy, even in its dreams...The cover has the three colors of the Italian flag, says simply it is "Italians favorite tuna" - um, no.
