Tales of Ancient Egypt

It has a name written inside but is otherwise immaculate. Barely a create in the spine. Excellent quality 2nd hand.The tales are retelling of classics, with good historical context & suggestions for follow-up activities too. Perhaps best suited to teachers rather than pupils.

Fascinating read for anyone interested in traditional fairy tales, myths and legends. I love the idea that thousands of years ago these were tales told, its seems a great privilege to be able to read these now and have some sort of idea of the mind of theses ancient beings.

Great book. Really enjoyed it

This is an excellent set of tales, by turns strange and intriguing. Be warned, though, that there are moments of the macabre and the downright odd. Still, for a very different take on ghosts, gods and even Greek legends, this is hard to beat.
