Q: Is this the new modified holder by saw haul? They added a metal plate where the scabbard mounts.

The mount is all metal except for the scabbard. I don’t know if they redesigned it, as this is my first one I have owned.

Yes. Should be no effect on the saw when loader is up. I have a Stihl 280 and love the mount.
