I bought a pair of these specifically for cold sake. It worked very well for that. It was able to keep my cup of chilled sake cold for several hours while I sipped. The size is just perfect: very comfortable to hold, perfect for a 5 or 6 ounce pour with enough extra room for the liquid to slosh around slightly during handling without spilling.The look is beautiful. I thought I saw a review complaining about the finish being the painted-on wood over metal instead of authentic wood, but I personally found the finishing beautiful. And I know I wouldn’t get the same insulation performance from wood that I get from this vacuum insulated stainless steel cup. The surface finish has sort of a nice “glow” to it. Just aesthetically very pleasing to me.My only complaint is the lack of a lid. Because I’m using this cup as I walk around my house going through my routines, I forgot several times already that this cup doesn’t have a lid. As a result, I’ve already knocked over and spilled two cups of perfectly good sake.Regardless of the lack of a lid, I liked the first pair so much, I immediately ordered another pair for my house.

This compliments the Roamer and a perfect beside water bottle and cup.

Slightly smaller than expected. A pair of these and the matching chiller made a nice birthday gift.

Doesn’t come with a lid and can’t find one to fit.

Absolutely love it! I know it's made for wine but it's also PERFECT for a bathroom to cup to match additional teak accessories.
