Q: Does this go pre or post dirt in the signal chain?

Noise gates are meant to be placed right after the source of problem noises. If you have a noisy signal chain, you need to identify where the noise is coming from. The thing about gain is that it’ll amplify any noise coming before it, and noise gates are most effectively used at the lowest setting possible so it doesn’t cut your sound or tone, or at least does so minimally. If you have something before your gain pedals that is making noise, the noise gate should go before gain, right after whatever part of the signal chain is causing a problem. In some cases though, it’s just gonna be noisy from the gain pedal itself. If that’s the only place noise is coming from then place it after your gain pedal. Keep in mind, the closer pedals get to actual amplification, the more “dominant” they become in the overall tone of the chain. The last thing you want as a “dominant” part of your chain is something cutting your sound.

it records anything you play off your guitar by clicking the pedal on to record and off to stop recording, then it loops what you played

Q: Odd question. are you located in the us? i’ve been ordering stuff and finding out it’s coming from out of the country. hence the “delay” in shipping.

Hi, all orders should be sent from US amazon warehouse, but due to COVID-19, lots of sellers have this problem: out of stock. Even we arrange goods via UPS express, it also will be deliveried delay, so, from 4-6 months, some of orders are FBA, some of orders are FBM. Because we should add inventory, but it seems UPS slowly, amazon warehouse stuffs clear goods slowly,too. When the items are in stock, then it's FBA and won't delay.

Q: Has anyone had any trouble with the power jack being loose/wiggly? Is it normal for the power jack to wiggle around a bit?

No issues with mine so far. Check the hex nut that tightens around threaded jack port, it may just need to be tightened, same as how it can become loose on some guitars occasionally
