Baroque Alto Recorder
What I like best about this recorder is the sound which is not shrill in any way. The wood is paler than it looks in the illustration, I think it might be maple, and also looks unvarnished. Am very pleased with the product.

Information is not accurate
Be careful when buying this product as the description states that the German recorder is better for school students or beginners while the Baroque is for professional performance teams and musicians. This is complete nonsense. If you are taking up the recorder in Britain, the one to buy is the Baroque instrument as the German is rarely used. Some of its fingerings are initially simpler, but it is not suitable for making further progress and is not generally used here, even at child beginner level. No professional player would use a cheap wooden instrument in an unnamed wood in any case. I cannot comment on the quality of this instrument, but a beginner would be better advised to buy a reliable plastic baroque instrument by Yamaha or Aulos.
