This karaoke mic is awesome! I purchased this for my daughter for her birthday and she has been using it everyday since (it's been about 5 days since her party). She ended up opening this the night of her party, and let me tell you, we haven't put it on the charger not once since we turned it on; it is still going strong. But, my daughter doesn't leave it on when she's not using it, and she doesn't use it for more than an hour at a time, so that may be adding to the battery life.The mic is very cute and easy to use, the buttons pretty much explain it all. The one thing I suggest is turning down the volume for music before you turn it on, because it will automatically start on Motown music mode, and the music is LOUD. On bluetooth mode, your voice is just as equally loud, but that also depends on who has the mic, because I'm super loud in it, but my daughter has a soft voice and tends to talk with her mouth away from the mic, so she sounds a little lower. There are volume sliders for MIC and ECHO; the echo effect is very cool. I haven't really scrolled through the motown songs, so I can't really say if they are as fun as singing along with.The reason I gave 4 stars is because the top of the mic is easy to dent just by leaning against it; my daughter did this the second day after she opened it, and I was able to shape it back into a mic, but the fact it bent so easily was disheartening. Also, we experienced some static and feedback when singing into it one day, and it happened every time we turned the mic on, but it hasn't been doing it since that day. I'm not sure how durable this mic will be, I suggest that it doesn't get dropped or thrown around much.It came packaged well, undamaged and was delivered fairly quick; overall iIwould definitely recommend this mic for a child, or even a family that loves to do karaoke, you won't be disappointed. I will update if I have any trouble with charging the mic.

This was a gift for my daughter’s 10 yr old best friend. Thankfully, I was able to check it out after she opened it. It’s really pretty great for kids who love to sing or just love music. It just happened to have one of her favorite songs on it “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough “ also lots of other great Motown songs. About 30 if I remember correctly. She carried it around all night singing, playing with the voice distorter and just listening to the music( songs contain lyrics so it’s more of singalong style) It’s pretty loud but the volume can be controlled. Simple directions and simple to use. I noticed that it also has a Bluetooth option but we didn’t check that part out. It also mentioned an app that can be downloaded to a phone in conjunction. Overall, I’m glad I took a chance on it she absolutely loved it. It was a big hit. Also, one of the only kids karaoke microphones that that I found with songs already built in. I would absolutely buy again.

My review starts with an issue, however overall we love this microphone!!!The issue is seen as soon as you open the box: the microphone is NOT PINK, or even rose gold. In most lighting, the handle could classify as rose gold, however the microphone head and its buttons definitely look like an orange gold, NOT PINK. When you compare it to the amazon photo (regardless of your color settings), it does NOT look the same. My (just turned) 5 year old even said "but it's not pink" when she opened it for her birthday!!! So that stinks, but besides the color, she LOVES it!!!She doesn't know the Motown songs yet, and we've only gotten through the first 5, but I knew a few, so hopefully a good song selection will continue through the remaining 25 tracks.Maybe I missed this, but it would have been helpful to know there are only 4 voice change options.This part would probably not have been mentioned: 2 of the 4 voices (#'s 3 & 4 which are deep/ men's voices) sound very similar to each other, so it's not a drastic change. Either way, it's still a cool feature.This microphone also has an echo feature.The sound & music buttons are short, but they do work. It did seem easier to turn the music up and down versus the microphone volume which didn't seem to change as drastically.It was easy to use and charged when we opened it. There are 3 modes & when you're on voice changing mode, pressing the mode button quickly will change through the 4 voice options.FYI: I purchased this NEW an it only came with the charging cord, NOT the converting piece that you plug into an electrical socket in a wall.We are looking forward to having fun with this microphone!!! I did get the 2 year warranty for $3, so hopefully there are no electronic issues, but if there are, the warranty should cover it. I believe it also covers things like drops & cracks, etc.

Bought for my 5 year old and it has been hours of fun. Connects easily to your iPhone via Bluetooth and uses whatever music app you want (we used Amazon music) to sing along with. Also has built in Motown tunes. Fair Parental Warning: Not a quiet toy. Would not advise purchase if you have a newborn in the house 😂
