Great piece of equipment
I really like this linear sled. The lock lever was a little awkward at first till I got used to it. It is very smooth and solid. You will need cast iron plates if you plan on putting any substantial weight on it. The sleeves are not long enough to put a lot of bumper plates on it. There could be a slight bit more room between the foot plate and the frame in the front to do calf raises. I really do like this equipment despite some of the minor flaws.

Instructions are not that clear. No video to put it together
Instructions not that easy to follow. The spring mechanism was a bit tricky. Otherwise the machine is solid and works as intended.

Great Product (very sturdy)
I'll preface my review of the machine by saying when you are putting this together, go slow and remain extremely organized. There are A LOT of parts to put together, so come up with a good plan to interpret and execute assembly of the blown-up views on each page. It would be nice if Body-Solid (like other companies) put together an assembly tutorial video. I ended up using parts of other company's (Force for example) videos to get a good idea of how to assemble mine. Most of those other videos are very similar in nature, and it's at least a soft guide on what steps to take and in what order.Aside from that, this compact leg press is absolutely amazing. It's small enough to fit darn near anywhere, and the dual leg bars holding the flat foot piece is far superior to competitors' single leg bars that cause their foot rests to wobble. Not this one. It remains stiff and sturdy through everything motion you engage in (double leg, single leg, calf, etc.). I highly recommend this to anyone considering a compact leg press. It's truly worth the money.

Machine rarely works
This leg sled has been nothing but problems since it arrived. Assembly requires two people and took a few hours but was doable. The problem we have had is apparently with the ball bearings. After a couple of weeks of use, the machine grinds and does not slide smoothly. We were sent replacement bearings which alleviated the issue for another month or so. The issue has returned and the machine is currently unusable.

Extremely Sturdy & Well Made, Professional Quality
Good instructions too. And as a bonus the nuts, bolts and washers are sorted and displayed on laminated printed cardboard sheets and are referred to by number for easy reference during assembly. That way you know exactly what nuts and washers to use with each bolt and do not have to sort through a bag of loose parts each time you install a piece of the assembly. I assembled mine by myself. It comes in a couple of boxes shrink wrapped on a pallet with shrink wrapped parts inside and lots of packing material. Moving the boxes from the pallet into the garage was a weight lifting exercise for arms, glutes, hamstrings, and back. LoL.

Moving the press around my basement
The media could not be loaded. Easy enough to put together. Just needed my wife’s help when putting the seat onto the bars. My basement gym is carpeted and I want to be able to move the press around. I bought furniture sliders and I can move the press with one hand.

Great machine. Terrible assembly instructions.
The worst piece of equipment I have ever put together in my whole life. The instructions are unclear but once you figure it out its a good piece to add to your gym. I contacted the original manufacturer with assembly questions via their website and on their YT channel. No response.

Nice compact press
Very well built and strong. Glides very smoothly. I give it 4 instead of 5 stars because there is no safety limiter at the bottom and if you’re using heavy weight, and going all out to failure, there is no escape. Other than that, this machine is beautiful.
