Great for security camera base!
I used this as a base for EUFY security cameras that we purchased. It make for a sturdier and visually aesthetic installation. Mounts easily over vinyl siding and self-leveling.

Perfect fit
Needed a mounting block to install my ring floodlight camera. This fit my siding perfect, extremely easy to install and is very strong/durable. I added caulking around the give it extra support and water proofing. Definitely recommend pre-drilling the holes before screwing them in to avoid damaging/cracking your siding.

Sturdy and well-designed
Very happy with the item. It's well-thought out and certainly sturdy. One star deducted for being overpriced -- at the end of the day it's a piece of plastic that could not have cost more than a dollar to manufactuer.

This mounting block is combined with a junction box, which simplifies new installation.
I had to install Ring floodlight camera over vinal siding. Since that was a new installation, I needed a junction box. This mounting block is combined with a junction box, which simplified installation. Junction box is not big, but with WAGO Compact Splicing Connectors the wires neatly fit into the box.

Elegant Solution
Great product. Used for mounting a non-circular floodlight (not a great fit on external junction boxes) on siding. This solved the problem elegantly.
