Good Resaw Blade
I purchased this saw blade from Amazon for the purpose of resawing wood. I often need pieces of wood 1/4" thick and am tired of planing 3/4" pieces down to 1/4" knowing that two thirds of what you just planed off (and of what you paid for) are going in the garbage. Using this blade for resawing helps to maximize the wood you have in your shop. The blade works well except that I was expecting a little smoother surface of the wood sawn. However, that may have just been an incorrect feed rate on my part. Especially since the saw is new and I was still getting use to it.One lesson that I learned the hard way when installing a new blade is how to properly "unfold" it from a coiled position. Neither the bandsaws owners manual or any of the bandsaw books tell you how to do this. They only tell you how to recoil it after removing it from the saw. However, had I read the instructions on the back of Olsen's box first (oops!), it tells you how to do it properly. First of all, I highly recommend wearing gloves. Second, when you remove the twist ties holding it together, gently "toss" the blade onto an open space on the floor and it will uncoil itself. This is how Olsen recommends uncoiling it and the second time I did it their way. I highly recommend uncoiling it using the method described in their instructions. Uncoiling it the first time using my method involved minor blood.Since woodworking is my hobby, I could not justify a more expensive blade. And I doubt that you would get any better results from a more expesive blade even if you were doing production work. This blade is well made and a good value.

Good cut for a great price.
Excellent performance, fast cut, good quality.I just purchased this blade for my Grizzly GO555LX bandsaw. I had seasoned curly maple and Cheery half logs sitting in my shop waiting to be milled into boards. This blade was able to cut through them with very little issues. My bandsaw was bogging down a little as these are some tough species to cut. This blade did an awesome job of getting the job done, and the blade is still very sharp. If you are doing any milling in your shop. This blade is a good choice for the money.

The band is not straight.
The saw blade works but has a tracking issue back and forth due to not being straight.

Excellent Blade for limited 14" band saws...
I have a Grizzly G0555LX with a 6" riser on it for re-sawing. It's used almost exclusive for re-sawing 5" to 7" walnut, maple, and oak. Because of the strength of the unit with the 6" riser I can't use a 3/4" blade on it without it bending the upper unit. I have almost always used Timber Wolf 1/2" 3TPI blades with good luck, but this blade is a happy medium between the more expensive TW and the un-usable 3/4" blades. It may or may not stay sharp as long (I haven't actually calculated the BF), but the cut is superior and the price is significantly less then the TW blades. Until such time I upgrade my band saw to a large enough unit to use carbide 3/4" or 1" re-saw blades, this is my goto for now. This one lasted about a month and a half... I just ordered another because it's starting to struggle on 6" walnut re-sawing...

Cuts like butter
Great blade for the price! Haven't gotten a timberwolf to compare this to, but the Olsen cuts 6in oak like butter. Also the 5/8 is a great size for a 14 in saw. It barely fits properly on the wheels. The saw manual says it can take up to a 3/4, but I would have a hard time tracking it properly without having it rub the blade guards.

So far great.
Did a little resawing with this blade and it worked very efficiently. I haven’t used it that long.

2nd blade was as expected
1st blade had a bad weld not it and would not track properly. Had it replaced in a few days, and the 2nd blade was perfect. Cuts like a dream
