Pleasantly surprised with this umbrella for the price. Used it for a week-long beach trip, and it held up to some pretty brisk winds very well, even when I saw other umbrellas getting collapsed by the wind. The "ribs" on the umbrella are very sturdy, the fabric blocks the sun extremely well, and the sand bag does a very good job of holding it in place. I did learn that you have to fill it pretty full if the wind is strong. It did blow over one time when I had only partially filled the base. Only complaint is I wish the carrying bag had just a little more material to make it easier to put the umbrella back in. I don't expect this to last forever, but I'm please with the value thus far.

I have purchased a few , this umbrella is unmatched! The Nevada sun was burning us, we put this umbrella up, in the water, with some pretty nice waves. It did not budge. The shade this thing provides is insane! Photo included, the water looked black underneath us lol. Incredible and worth the money. So easy to set up, lightweight and doesn't take up space.

Great umbrella! The sand bag that's with it, really anchors it! So easy to put up! We have been at Siesta Key and Anna Maria this week and it has held up great ! Would definitely buy again, if needed!

Easy to put together, held up against some good gusts of wind in Big Sur, and provided much needed shade. Only removed one star for were the piles connect. Wish it was more secure and was buttons to lock it in place and adjust the height, but otherwise, this was a great product I'll be using often at the beach and at home by the pool.

Maybe we didn't bury it deep enough, but the plastic pole did not look sturdy in those strong winds. It was the perfect beach weather, but not for this umbrella despite all the hype for its ability to stay in the wind. The plastic looked shaky. Then, the button that angles got stuck, and the umbrella kept falling to the other side, which ended up providing little shade. It's also so difficult to pack up in the narrow little bag. I don't understand why they make the packaging so tight-fitting. I am thoroughly disappointed.My advice is to find something that can transfer more easily. Even though you have a shovel, once you've buried something in the sand, you don't want to have to unbury it and pick it up out of the sand. You could try loosening the top and twist the umbrella part to get the shade in the direction you need it, but again, the winds were strong, and I didn't want to risk struggling too much since I also have a bad wrist. That was why the adjustable angle was so appealing, but the button malfunctioned. Either way, it doesn't even matter because it was impossible to adjust by myself because the winds were too strong!I could tell it was previously used because of sunscreen or tanning lotion marks, but I couldn't have guessed that the button was broken. If you are still interested in buying this, absolutely ensure that you test it out at the beach before the refund period ends. Don't just try it at home. I wasted $65 for a poor experience. It seemed fine at home, but the umbrella was very difficult to adjust in the strong winds. Consider that you might not be strong enough or too bothered to take the effort to make it work; I would not have been able to adjust the angle by myself.

Excellent beach umbrella. We had a windy day on the beach with a storm approaching. This umbrella holds it's own. Easy to set up. Like the large size too.

We loved this umbrella on the beach for 5 days. It was dark and well shaded, strong in the wind, and easy to put up and take down. It has added stability with the sand bag at the bottom and did not blow over or bend.

Took this out to the coast beach and it was a fairly windy afternoon. I chose this product because I felt like the added sand holder was a nice concept. I was extremely pleased. The umbrella held up for hours with ease... even through some gusts. It was large enough to shade the lounge chair and the beach blanket.
