afrimports African Shea Butter 100% Natural, White, 10 lb.

I am in love with this shea butter. I bought a whole 10lb block for personal use since this stuff seems to never go off. I use it in my diy hair mixes and body mixes for me, my husband, and my toddler.This is my first time buying bulk shea butter and my second time buying shea butter. The one I that I got before was super hard, and I had to cut it with a knife and melt it down to use. It took me a couple months to use it up just because I procrastinated on making the mixes. It was only 8 oz because I wanted to see if I liked shea butter and I do so when it was finished I bought more; this time in bulk from a different supplier.This shea butter is soooo soft and melts down as you rub it. My research tells me that the soft shea butter is much fresher than the hard one, but I could be wrong. I made a mix with this one and it worked similarly to the hard one but melted into our hair and skin a little more quickly. The smell is very pleasant. It has a light nutty smell. I leave it in my closet, and whenever I go in there, it smells nutty and sweet. All shea butter will kind of perform similarly; but what I absolutely love about this shea butter is that because it is soft, I can kind of rub a piece off and use it as is. If this was my first experience with shea butter, I would have switched over to all natural body and hair products a long time ago.Lastly, I overestimated just how big 10 lbs is. It's really not that big; though it will last many many months for my family of 3. (Pictures have a size comparison against a 16.9 oz water bottle). Nonetheless, I am very happy with my purchase. I will for sure be buying from this brand again since they sell fresh high quality shea butter.

The media could not be loaded. I've bought some Shea butter from different vendors on Amazon and most of them looked mixed with something but this one is actually pure Shea butter. It's super creamy and makes amazing whipped cream lotions. Glad made the switch

My husband makes body butter. He had been having our daughter purchase from Amazon using her prime membership, because he is too cheap to have his own membership...well she forgot to make a purchase for him and he needed it right away for one of his customers so I was going to make the purchase for him. His normal supplier had went up on the price, why he never looked at other suppliers on Amazon is beyond me. So I saw this suppliers price not only was it cheaper but the quantity was more so I made the purchase for him. He was very pleased with the product it was just as good a quality as the other supplier he was truly happy.

I finally whipped up this set of Shea Butter and couldn't be happier with the quality. It blended well with essential oils to give off the most amazing scent. I highly recommend this based on the quality. I have been buying Raw Shea for a year now and this is my Third purchase and I couldn't be happier, I can't say it enough. The first two times I purchased from other vendors and the second set was just had this awful smell and could not blend well with essential oils. I hope to buy from this vendor again and have the same results. Thank you Afrimports for a great experience.

You do not need to shop any further. THIS SHEA BUTTER is the bees knees and I will definitely be back. I make moisturizers and this has been such a great addition to my formula.I waited to send this review because I wanted to make a few batches and from the very first measurement it is butter soft and if you do not watch it your entire hand will be as soft as a baby's a** (well you know). No need to search any further this is the TRUTH RUTH!NO GO PURCHASE!!

This is raw shea butter, meaning that it will smell earthy and possibly have a bit of discoloration and debris. What you get at the grocery syoreehas been refined, melted, filtered, and chemicals added to "improve" color and smell...which also diminishes some of the health benefits. For diy recipes at home, this is perfect. Packinging is a bit messy (plastic weap inside a cardboard box), but it's a huge chunk of butter so i can't think of a better way to package it (maybe in a plastic box?).

I use this in my body products and it’s easy to work with. Love this Shea butter!

This Shea butter was wonderful. Smooth with no debris, and shipping was very fast. Can't wait to whip up some of my body butter.
