i don't believe any sharp scissor is approved. there is a nose scissor that has rounded ends.

these are the sharpest scissors i've seen. i'm sure they were made to be ambidextrous. worth the price.

These trimmers are intended for cutting hair. Use your fingernail clippers for nails.
