Q: How long does it run on a 12ah battery?

It depends on what you are cutting. With 2 batteries I can cut a truck load of medium size ash wood. If you are cutting larger pieces of wood it doesn't last as long.

Q: Is there an equivalent oregon chain or husqvarna that i can use. i cannot find this chain in stock anywhere. i can’t use a chainsaw without a chain!

You take the chain.off the bar or read the owners manual to get the chain type and.number.if links you need and you go to a real power equipment store not a big box store and give them either the chain or the size info from owners manual and they ca make a chain. At least that is what my smart customers did and some times if the operator seemed to know his equipment and safety, we would make his type chain with more aggressive cutting links. If you bring old chain they can sharpen it cheaper then buying a new one.

No the DCCS677 chain saw requires a replacement 20" (50 cm) bar DWZCSB20.
