One of the cameras that came with my several years old Swann DVR 8-8075 package lost its night vision and started producing distorted video, so I decided on this as a replacement due to good reviews vs. some of the cheaper cameras. The video looks equally as good as the Swann cameras and seems solidly built with metal components. After evaluating the night vision. I can state it is superior to my old Swann cams. If any more of the original Swann cams go out I will replace with another one of these. The mounting holes I had previously for the Swann cam were in the exact location for this new cam, which I appreciated.

Bought there whole 8 channel dvr system and the product is amazing quality. Had a problem with one camera glitches. Emailed the company and they went into the dvr remotely and found it had interference near a metal gutter i moved it and no problems hats off to that company

Needed some newer higher definition cameras for my home. Bought 6 cameras on Prime Day and took advantage of the discounted price. Much more clarity than my older Swann cameras. And because it is a BNC type of connection, it was a direct swap out with my wiring.*FYI: The circumference of the base is small than older style cameras, so it's likely you will need to drill new screw holes for mounting*

The camera connects but I thinkin just like the normal lorex the only problem I have so far is the view is it about a 60% brightness. As the cameras outside and my monitors inside I haven't had time to play with the settings that it comes with so when I have somebody that can help me I'll give that a shot.

i need to start at the beginning before i purchased this camera. I had a 8 camera GW Security system to start with and after one year had nothing but trouble with it... the mother board went out once then the cameras started to get flaky.. thought it was the cameras but all of them??? doubtful. so i did some more research and found tiger security system and purchased it without the hard drive as i already had a 4 gig. After installing it and using it for several months this is by far the best system i have used and i have used several. Zmodo, Aztec and GW security etc. The only issue i have with it is the mouse is to sensitive and at times you have to click several times and maybe it will go. The reason i purchased the camera is one of the GW cameras failed and since this system works so well i thought i would try there cameras. Good decision on my part they are a lot crisper and clearer than my other ones..Bottom line is i wish i found this system first.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! I manage a 30 camera CCTV system for the past 25 years. There were some areas I wanted to get a wider view of, so I ordered this camera. I always bench-test any new CCTV component when received to ensure it's advertised functionality. I received one of these last week, and, following the enclosed instructions, could not get any response on the monitor. My 12VDC power supply tested positive, I switched BNC connectors. Checked the positive lead on the camera power cord to ensure it could make contact w/the power supply, Depressed the "mode" button". Not even a blip. I returned it for replacement. Received the replacement today. Had an identical experience. Returning it for refund.

Have to replace our old security camera. This serves the purpose and has the same or better resolution

Are the cameras have a great picture during the daytime hours. I have adjusted the settings for all the cameras to turn on the night vision manually and it worked for a few months just fine but all of a sudden every one of the four cameras I purchased I’ll quit working at night meaning the night vision on the cameras quit and it showsA pitch black picture I can’t see anything at all after sunset. I expected more from these cameras considering what I paid for them butI did get the extended warranty so I will be sending them back for replacements until I get more cameras that will work during the night and day as advertised. Hope this helps someone I will update my review after I received my replacement cameras
