Night Vision Monocular, Clip on Night Vision with Dual Infrared 940nm and 850nm, Hunting Scopes for Night Viewing

Awesome price for this level of night vision and being able to swap it between scopes so easy, with the built in IR light you can see every bit of 120 yards clearly. I bought a IR flashlight just to save on battery life. Day mode works great with a little tinkering to the focus knobs and not having to re-zero is the best part, havnt got to see any coyotes yet but I'm looking forward to using this little contraption. The only downside I've found so far is just how far it comes back off the scope, it's a little difficult to get a good shoulder with your stock comfortably. Be sure to take the black tape off the battery when you first try to cut it on!! I'm highly satisfied with this purchase as long as this thing holds up!!! Would give 6 stars for the price if I could. You won't be disappointed if your just an average Joe looking for some decent quality night vision in the form of monocular or scope/scopes. Very easy to detach and put back on.

The technology is excellent, however there is no support for the product. The company in all likelihood out of business, as the web site is non-functional and the queries to the company email were unanswered. The unit on the surface appears to be a Pard NV007V clone with two IR flashlights rather than one, but mounting accessories for the Pard unit did not work, so there was no option to get more scope mounting fixtures (as described in the Amazon listing). The unit would have to be completely demounted to be put on another scope, rather than using the clip-on feature...so its usefulness is limited. The enclosed instructions for use barely give enough information to turn the unit on - and an Internet search found the instructions to basically be a clone of the Pard and similar units' instructions, so the best bet is to research Internet forums for other users' experiences and recommendations. Getting the WIFI output to work is a real workout - the recommended software doesn't work, and the only one that would give an image is RoadCam for the iPhone, and even then is limited in operation. However, once the unit is set up, it really works pretty well, with a nice color image, ability to center the scope reticle electronically, and the integral 850 and 940nm flashlights work amazing well out to incredible yardage (my application is airguns). The B-W mode is not as sharp as the color/daylight mode, but it is adequate. When the unit was used without being attached to the riflescope the B-W image was much improved - actually almost as sharp as the daylight image. The feature buttons are easy to get used to operating in the dark. The recorded images are great, although the unit was returned before an evaluation was made of the playback mode in the unit rather than porting to the iPhone. The unit does extend the scope out a good bit, but I was using the night vision on a gun clamped in a vise tripod, so it was easy to sight and still operate the gun. Pros: image quality in color/daylight; great video recording; clip-on feature, dual included night vision flashlights that really do the job. Cons: B/W - Night vision image quality not as sharp; no support; poor instructions. The lack of support, inability to use the WIFI, and lack of suitable accessories are what prompted the two star rating.Postscript: The company DID email me back after some time; they did not provide any further information as requested, but rather simply asked what I wanted. At the time, I had already returned the unit and had no further interest in communication with them. Before they responded, I had purchased a third party 48mm mounting adaptor, and it did not work. So ended the story.

Product is good for the needs it's advertised. Focusing isn't the best but livable. The problem comes with the battery life. I can concur with other reviews relating to the battery life. Using the IR and/or video will frustrate you within or less than an hour of use. If you can deal with that, it's a nice product.

Was great until I fired 2, 180 grain, .300 win mag rounds with it and it fell apart....I'm guessing from the recoil

A group of us were looking for night vision scope as an add-on to rifle scope for hog hunting. I bought this N7 model to test it out. The idea to attach on the rifle scope does not work. The item is quiet heavy, it made a very long extension to the scope. It will easily fall off from the tree stand with the weak connection to the scope. If I tight it up too much, it will probably damage the rifle scope, which is not designed for attaching anything with weight. With the massive weight, it can easily shake the scope out of center when shots are fired. The built-in camera/camcorder and Wi-Fi are not the needs for hunters. It is a product more for a photographer than a hunter. After the initial installation, none of our group would buy. The unit is plastic instead of aluminum like what was said on the specs.
