First found this stuff on another website but they dis-continued for some unknown reason, love the stuff as easy to wash out, doesn't leave that greasy residue as many other hair products do.

This product is something that looks lovely on a shelf- cute glass jar- and smells lovely. Suitable for naturally wavy and thick hair its is easy to apply. It stays put pretty well and doesn't make the hair look greasy. 4/5

Mt step-son has been trying this out (I wish I could, but lack one fundamental requirement to do so - baldy...).He normally uses Fudge Original Hair Shaper and has done so for several years. By comparison, he thought the Pomade was okay if he'd run out of Fudge, or if he was going football coaching (he's a personal fitness instructor), but for a night out or more formal occasion, he still prefers the Fudge.He said the Fudge is easier to use, feels it holds his styling better, and was a bit "less greasy".Given that the Fudge is also quite a bit cheaper, he reckons the Pomade is 'okay' (hence three stars) but he won't buy any more of it once this pot has run out.Sorry this isn't the most informative review you'll read, but that's all I could get out of him.

Rather pleased with this. Hadn't used this brand before and impressed. It's basically a light wax product- gloop up a fingertip amount and apply through hair. Adds body without being sticky and keeps hair controlled but still natural-looking. Don't need to use a lot so it works out pretty good value-wise in the long-run. Very pleasant fragrance too. Good stuff.

POMADE========What's a pomade I hear you ask. Well, I too had to look it up and it's a greasy, waxy, or a water-based substance that is used to style hair.A more up to date name is wax, putty or styling product. I suppose Brylcreem may be one? Anyway I digress.SHINE=====Yes it does add a little shine.NEED=====I needed a product that maintained hold throughout the day. I used a comb to pre shape the direction, then applied the product.It kept my hair in place for the majority of the day, with little greasiness.This is a shaping product which also adds shine. It has a professional type of consistency and works reasonably well.PROS=====Shiny finish,Hair looks thickerGood hold- not super stiff but strong enoughNice smellgood brandCONS======Doesn't hold as well as the "hardcore" hair products. But for shape with some bounce this is ideal.

Not firm hold as marketed, but very light. My medium length thick hair cannot be styled so product is not fit for my purposes.Don't understand how this product has great reviews.

My normal hair product has been discontinued (thanks a bunch, ManCave) so am exploring other options.My hair is quite fine but I’ve a lot of it. It’s goes fuzzy without product so needs something to keep control of it. So I look for a firm hold, and I hate my hair feeling at all greasy.This product barely holds my hair at all and even a small amount leaves it feeling very greasy. I’ve just tried it again, on dry hair, and I just want to wash it out.Expensive for what it is, and I’m probably going to chuck it. Not something I can recommend.
