Absolute game changer for me
The media could not be loaded. This was an absolute game changer! I rent a council flat and they don't put in a shower when they renovate. After a few years of just using a jug for hair washing a friend visited who, due to weak upper arms, got stuck in the tub unable to lift herself out whilst I was at work. This was probably the "final straw" for me in deciding that I did need some sort of shower option. After some research I came across this valve and decided I could give it a go.To ensure it would fit and to know what the tap gauge was, I searched online for the appropriate bath tap unit already installed. I then checked their manual for the gauge and internal thread measurements to compare to this valve and purchased the appropriate pipe adaptor piece. This part is ESSENTIAL.The most difficult part, for me, was that due to the hardness of London water and the plastic internal spout aerator was almost impossible to remove, despite soaking the whole spout in acid overnight. Then after a bit more googling, I read that using fire to crack/melt the plastic might work.. and it did!Be sure to use an appropriate amount of PTFE tape to ensure a secure fit. I then attached a standard Bristan shower hose and hand held shower head. The wall attachment is stick on and alas, it's fallen off and I have not got round to replacing it but the shower valve itself works fine even after almost five years. Also do bear in mind that the shower pressure will not be powerful enough unless your water pressure is high enough which mine is as there are 2 floors above me.For reference, I have pretty much never done any plumbing bar attaching a washing machine or emptying the u-bend, but with a reasonable grasp of "how things work" and some patience, it was not a difficult install. It's much easier to do if you're happy to sit in the bath to install it so you can get to the underside of the spout easily so some degree of physical flexibility and dexterity is required as well as a bit of patience with removing the existing spout aerator and/or tip.

KES BRASS Diverter
I have to admit I was somewhat worried, when I bought this unit, as I have an old Ideal Standard mixer tap, and I wasn't sure if it would fit. My fears were allayed however as it fitted with no problems. Bear in mind when you receive the unit, it has the extension fitment screwed on, so you have to remove that if you want the smaller 22mm choice for your tap. The unit is well made and comes with what I call an anti splash mesh, inside the nozzle. The diverter part works well and is easy to use, with good water pressure allowed through the extension section, depending, maybe, on your own water pressure of course. In all I am very pleased with this unit and it has given me exactly what I wanted.

Needs extra work to stop leak
It works fine but the leak is a problem that I need to fix. I need to close the tap water every time to stop water drops

Sturdy and well made.
We moved into a house where the bath taps had been tiled in - short of re tiling the bathroom this was the best item to do the job we wanted. The KES Diverter valve works brilliantly it is very easy to install, and it comes with everything you need to start using it straight away(showerhead and hose not included but I did order them at the same time) the item was not expensive £12.50 which is much cheaper than re tiling! I can now clean and rinse round my bath much much easier.

It lasted 2.5 years
The one thing the product description doesn't mention is that the handle (and presumably the diverter bit inside) is plastic instead of brass. After 2.5 years of daily use, the plastic part has now broken off on the axis. That's an okay-ish lifetime, but a full-brass piece would probably have survived far longer.

great product, but breaks easily
this product has been very useful to me as an islamic shattaf user, for doing istinja (purification) through water... however, it breaks quite easily while diverting the water.. the trick is to completely switch of the toilet sink before diverting the valve and I have realised it lasts longer.. however I have been forced to order multiple diverters in case one breaks..Overall, really essential item in Muslim households who use water for cleaning after toilet use.

It is not leaking in first use
The media could not be loaded. I have installed this today and I should use it for a while to be able to write a review. At the moment I can just say, it is not leaking even when the tap is open and other end is closed and it is under pressure. It seams to be a good quality product. As you can see in the pictures, I have removed the existing part and scrwed the diverter in its place to the tap.
