the perfect little black book
Wonderful little notebook. The A6 size is perfect for me (although I have quite a small handwriting and I use a 0.38mm tip pen to write in it).The faint grid is just barely visible, which serves its purpose of providing some structure without showing up too much and competing with one's handwriting. It's true that the dates on top are in tiny font and very light, but I don't mind this at all... it's because of this, that I can ignore them all together if I wish to do so on the pages where I am only taking notes which are not related to any date. Then I can simply write on top of them and it is not looking odd at all to do so.The paper is absolutely marvellous - it has less shadowing than Tomoe River and is slightly more matte, but overall the most similar to it that I could find. Until now no pen of mine (gel, marker or fountain pen) has bled trough the pages and because they are so thin the whole notebook is slim enough to not seem too bulky - although it has 368 pages!Overall I am very pleased with my purchase and will continue to buy this notebook, although it is rather on the pricey side...

Great paper and size.
Love this notebook, the paper is comparable with Tomoe River paper - thin but holds ink , watercolour etc really well. If you dislike any ghosting at all I'd say maybe try something else, but having said that, I disliked ghosting and I now love this little book, especially with watercolored pages. Also note that the the lines/grid is incredibly feint so almost like working with blank paper. Obviously ordering from Japan is going to take a while to arrive (around 4 weeks) but well worth the wait. I've already ordered another.

Ideal notebook for fountain pens and on-the-go writing
This is honestly the perfect notebook series if you're looking for tomoe river like notebooks at a reasonable price and easily available, with more functionality. Unlike tomoe river paper, this paper feels solid and not prone to crinkling. The binding is great and the feint numbers and dates are subtle enough to fade away but clear enough to use as a planner system. The grid fades away once you write on the page, so it looks almost like plain paper which I liked. It feels solid as a notebook, I can shove it in my bag or a pocket without concern, and it takes fountain pens perfectly with no smearing or bleeding. Ink dries quickly, I could use watercolour with no problems, and the ghosting is there but way more subtle than tomoe river notebooks. I love it, and am planning on getting the B6 version for my next bujo after my current tomoe river one!

Love it!
I love this little notebook. I bought it as a journal in place of the Hobonichi because I was prepared to pay that kind of money. But I have no regrets as this little book holds pen and water really well. I love how the paper crinkles once water has been used. I’ll definitly be buying another when this one is filled 👍

Handy as an open journal but print is a little too faint
Great size for carrying with you and using as an undated calendar/journal. There's a row of months and days at the top you can mark with the date, although these are a little too faint for my eyes. This is the main reason I use it for keeping undated notes or I just jot the date at the top myself. It was suggested as a substitute for the Hobonichi Techo but it falls short--at least in terms of my needs.

Great
Strudy notebooke for both bullet journalling and planning or just as a notebook, very thin paper very similar to tommoe river paper.

Excellent.
Absolutely love it, really pleased with this. Way cheaper than a more famous Japanese rival and just as excellent quality, would buy again.
