Great Result !
I had been wanting some blue boots for a while, unable to find any I decided to colour some brown boots that I hadn't worn for a couple of years. I ordered 2 packs thinking there was more leather in the boots to cover than on a pair of shoes, however 1 pack was more than enough. I followed the instructions, after the first coat the colour was quite black, after 2 more coats I had achieved the desired colour of blue. The dye Is quite drippy and care is needed when applying so allow yourself plenty of time to get a good result. The results are great I now have a new pair of boots that will get plenty of use this coming winter.

Clearer instructions
Product seems good, but the instructions are not clear. Both the container and the leaflet were confusing in their instructions.

Easy to use and great finish
Clear instructions, easy to use and great finish. Water based, so easy to clean applicators. Leather remains supple after application. One small pot of super colour was more than enough for a pair of Chelsea boots.

Excellent cover and colour
Hubby wanted for some faded shoes...one coat did an excellent job...plenty left for another cover...

Sponge doesn’t offer good cover.
Instructions say stir the pot with the brush. Brush ends up with paint all over it. If you’re waiting for first coat to dry, brush dries out and it’s difficult to wash the paint out. Sponge was useless and primer didn’t seem to do much either.

Good coverage
I bought two packages as I wanted to change the colour of old, tall boots. One box was enough, but I did use a bit of the second prepared. Like others before me, I used my own brush. I’m pleased with the results, but need to cover few details. I haven’t wear the boots, so I don’t know if the paint will crack.

Tricky to use.
Bought this to dye pale pink leather trainers dark blue. Found it fiddly and quite difficult to use. Brush not good ended up using a make up brush. Need several coats to cover the original colour.

Navy shoe dye.
This product was good but some of the dye rubbed off quickly after wear.I left the boots for 5 days before wear.I think this product requires a stronger buffer for the leather before dying.
