Caraselle Pack of 6 Watering Spikes - the best plant watering solution

These work well if you use the correct bottle, I had to use a glass water bottle to fit these spikes as most plastic bottles didn't work. Once I had got the hang of using kitchen paper pushed into the base of the spike to alter the speed of water coming out of the spike this worked great, however it's a good idea to do a trial run before you actually need them. Otherwise you may find that the water runs out too quickly.

Easy to fit to ordinary large plastic bottles and come with an adaptor for larger necked bottles. Screws them on tightly.Holes that let water out can get blocked - drill them out a tiny bit larger. Stuffing a rag down the spout does help reduce the flow rate.Easy to move from one plant to another and pierces through weed control matting ok.The spiky horizontal collar stops the bottle tippling over - cheaper versions don't have this feature.I had one set of these for years & needed some more.

Not the best system when you have to stick tissues down the spike to control the drip! Getting them out is impossible, but you get what you pay for and they are cheap.

You do wonder if these gadgets are going to work, but it’s not rocket science to get water to the roots of plants and this is a simple solution. Attached to a squash bottle, with the bottom cut off, so that you can easily refill the bottle without pulling the spike out, gets water to where it matters. One small hitch, if the water is not going down, it’s usually because the holes in the spike are clogged. Clean the spike and clear the holes, attach it to the bottle and re insert into the earth close to the plant.

I've had these before and they're great for watering plants without trying to get underneath them. They have adapters so fit most bottle tops. Great idea. Would recommend.

I'm sorry, but I really cannot give this anymore stars than one! They are total rubbish! Two of the watering spikes were broken at the join, which I tried to glue but the glue dissolved the plastic. But more to the point, they simply do not work! The water just gushed out of half of them (even when I stuffed kitchen roll into the spikes) and the others didn't flow at all. Hardly the answer to watering problems .....

so far the bottles have lasted up to 24 hrs which isn't long enough as needs to last longer for whilst i'm away. so I guess I need to try to pack more kitchen paper into spike to try to make them last longer. still experimenting at present.

No funciona, se vacía enseguida. Un sesastre. Decepcionada, encima una vez que lo hiciste servir ya no lo puedes devolver.

my flowers love these things, no burnt leaves from the hot sun. Just pour into bottle and let it do it's thing.

imballaggio conforme all' articolo, buona la fattura ... ci sono diversi adattatori per le varie bottiglie.I formati di riferimento sono quelli tedeschi, quindi in alcuni casi in italia serve del teflon oppure si possono utilizzare le mottiglie del latte o simili

Merci c'est tres bien et en plus avec la collerette c'est encore mieux pour que nous pouissions bien les piquer

Takes a bit to discover which bottles will thread - after that annoyance -,…they work well - especially with the added paper towel stopper to slow the rate
