This is a replacement for the original which is 20 years old!Zippo is a good quality make that is used every where and well known,This is one of the many designs that Zippo do which is very good looking also handy in bad weather as you can light a Zippo in windy conditions.This design has a nice feathery like design on the casing in polished brass,the lid flips up to expose the lighting wheel,you can buy Zippo lighter fuel as well to guarantee long life of the lighter to!The lighter is quick and easy to fill and use also is very nice looking,this design would be nice looking enough to give as a gift.The supplier of this lighter was also very quick to dispatch the item to,came in its own box and packed well,would recommend to anyone.

A decent little lighter, I lost my old zippo and the 2 days I was without it were pure hell.I've checked for any signs that it's a forgery, just in case, and I can confirm that I'm pretty sure it's a GENUINE zippo lighter. Just in case you were wondering how to check for a forged Zippo I'll post a few simple points:1. Dull flat click. When you open and shut your Zippo it should have a nice echoey ping.2. Brass pins. A genuine Zippo will not have brass pins through the thumbwheel and the lock connecting the insert to the case.3. Obviously the price, this is pretty much the RRP for a cheap Zippo. Fakes will be cheaper.You can also check when your Zippo was made by looking on the bottom of the case. The letter on the left will indicate the month (A is Jan, B is Feb etc.) And then the year is on the right. Mine is Jan 2010.The month and date will also be on the insert (don't worry if the date on the insert doesn't match the date on the bottom, they are often made at different times).Would Definitely recommend! 10/10 =]

I bought this when the price was low as I'd always fancied a Zippo lighter. I'm not a smoker so I bought this for lighting my hand warmer and using during outdoor activities like camping.This is my first Zippo and I have to say that I was slightly disappointed with the quality of the construction for something that is a premium product. The edges are not well finished and there were scratches on the insert. Apparently the flame is wind proof but I blew it out quite easily.It's a simple construction with no extra features like waterproof or air tight seals like I have had on some of my outdoor lighters but then I guess there's not much that can go wrong with this lighter either. And if it does break Zippo will fix it under their guarantee.It seems like it should be a durable product and it's nice to look at too. I reckon it will last a lot longer than the fancy turbo flame lighters I've bought in the past.All in all for the price I paid I'm happy

Love this lighter without doubt my favourite one! Used many times and is great! My friends were obsessed with it when I first got it and everyone wanted to use it haha! Love the style and is nice and shiny straight out of the official zippo box.mine is pretty firth in photos because I’ve had it for a year now and I didn’t really take great care of it for a while but if you do it will no doubt keep shining on!

Nice Zippo, unfortunately not like the old engraved Venetian zippo. But still pleasedWell packed with zippo authentic box etc

The hinge is loose with lots of play and feels cheap. The lid doesn't close all the way and keeps getting stuck on the insert. And the chimney looks a little roughed up too.Not worth the high price.

Only just received my zippo lighter and to be honest I was beginning to wonder what it would be like after reading a couple of the negative reviews, shouldn't have been concerned, the lighter looks, feels, and operates just as it should. The engraving gives the lighter a classical look which is very pleasing to the eye and gives a bit of a better grip. After reading some information on fake zippo's I checked this one out against some information I had gleaned through Google and this is the genuine article,. Yes, I would recommend this lighter.

This Zippo lighter is my first and as I am a Scout it will serve me well in years to come. So far it has performed well, lighting first time every time. The high poish looks pretty damn good when you first look at it but mine wore off within 1 and a 1/2 weeks of attempting tricks. Not as big or heavy as I first thought it would be, maybe I'll get an Armor type next time. Defo recommended to anyone who fancies a Zippo lighter. :D
