A zoom eyepiece that needs to progress
This was my first Svbony item ! The eyepiece is very well built, has a decent 57 degree view throughout, object looks good 4 out of 5 sharpness BUT then it also has a very short eye relief, so your eyelashes will wipe the actual lence and leave spot ! Too stiff /hard to rotate to change zoom level, the eyepiece starts to rotate but not the dial! If it was cheap below £50 I could understand but for over £100 eyepiece this is unacceptable, hence I decided to return it.

The eye relief could be better so I think 4 stars is fair. It does its Job well and I like it. Update: saw Saturns rings very clearly the other night so im upping to 5 starsEdit: Dec 2024This eyepiece is fantastic! It delivers very sharp views and it's great to zoom in on craters on the moon!!! The moon looks absolutely stunning through this eyepiece! I also managed to see an Io shadow transit with this and my skywatcher heritage 130p!And the cleaning cloth is fantastic aswell 👏
