heater
I will keep my review up to date if I have any issues. So far this thing beats my expectations. My office is kept very cold for some reason and I really needed a heater. It puts out lots of heat and the noise level is low. For the boomers, there is a plastic sheet across the front that you need to peel off before using it. There is no smell, but I imagine there would be a smell if you left the plastic on. Its hard to see but its there. It warns of a risk of heat stroke. I’m guessing that is a EU warning.

It's a great little heater.
Get it. I can't believe I waited years to buy something like this. I was considering cutting a hole in my sheetrock to come up with an in-wall solution for a hardwired heater. My friend asked why I would not just buy a portable heater. I did't even know they had bathroom styles. I love the white color; it matches the bathroom. I can turn it on or off with the press of my big toe. The first setting is for one hour which I use most frequently. I turn it on before getting in the shower warm up the small bathroom. Then I stand in front of it as I'm doing my morning routine. Finally, I point it at the damp town on the wall to help dry it our so it does not get musty. With my GFCI outlet and the safety plug on this one I feel like I am covered in the safety department. I should have bought this long ago.

Reliable and inexpensive
Great little fan. We use it in our bathroom during winter because the bathroom is large and tile/marble. Works well for an oversized bathroom.

Nice, quiet, pushes a lot of heat. 4.5 Stars
We have 4 Lasko products in our home, and have found them to be very reliable, so although there are cheaper heaters out there, I was confidant in this purchase. It's very nice to quick-warm a bathroom in the morning when the house thermostat has been low all night. It's quiet, heats up quickly, and has a thoughtful 1-hour on high timer. The cat, in particular, loves it - nuzzling it hopefully when it's off.Pros: It's a solidly built good unit that does its job. Meets expectations and is an attractive ivory cube that takes up little space.Cons: (3 grumpy items - no deal breakers)(1) Unless you have the hands of Rachmaninov (or...Shaq, for you sports fans), you'll have trouble picking this up with less than 2 hands. A cube this weighty and smooth should absolutely have either an inset handle or a bucket-like (possibly silicone) handle to maneuver it quickly.(2) The large round top button/switch is really nice! It makes a substantial click when you toggle between high-1 hour, high, and low. There's also a small inoffensive orange light that is always on when the heater is plugged in, and shows which power you're on. So you have a tactile and visual representation that you are turning the heater on - why would it need a *ridiculously* loud beep whenever you push it. Beep! Beep! Beep! The heater is on low! - now why are the dogs barking?(3) While a lawful warning sticker is normal for something easily misused....in this case, the Do Not Remove!!! sticker is fixed on the cord near the plug, and is Huge. More warnings than an aspirin bottle, English and Spanish. It might be.... 5x7" and made of stiff, wrinkled, rattley and curiously waterproof paper. Now, you might think I bet they removed it, but no! wrapping it around the cord and securing it with a piece of medical wrap at least streamlined it a bit. Experience teaches that if you remove those things, you're left with a sticky cord anyway.TL;DR It's nice. If you need one, watch for a sale, buy it. You'll never be sorry you have a little heater on hand - just don't ignore the warnings!

Impressive and nicely made. Love the one-touch button.
I bought this as a gift for a friend up North, for his small office. After trying it he was so happy - said it was "Just Perfect"! It is smaller than I thought it would be, but puts out large amount of heat. The high and low settings are just right, and the big one-touch button on top is so easy to use. It seems very well made. I hope it lasts - he is so happy with it!
