I was a little Leary about buying this talking skeleton. I talked myself into it with the idea if it was a dud, I would ship it back. Well it's staying. This guy is pretty cool, not real scary, but very entertaining. The packing was a little overkill, I ended up with three boxes. There was no damage, so I guess it worked. The assembly was easy if you take your time and line up the holes for the arms and follow the directions for the legs. It states that it can be left outdoors, but after years of experience with these animatronics, that's never a good idea. The only downside to this guy is I wish they would have had a scarier saying. If this company makes a creepy one I will be buying that one too. I would love to have an evil twin to stand across from the one I have now. I'm happy that I did not buy the competitors talking skeleton that is over double the price of this one. This guy should last for several halloween seasons. I kept one of the boxes for storage since he can be disassembled after the season. I also taped the extra screws and instructions to that box for next year assembly. I'm very happy about buying this and look forward to buying his evil twin. ..Hint...Hint.

Life size skeleton! Awesome for the price! Was a huge hit for Halloween!

1. There were no instructions and there is wiring.2. The plug is NOT outdoor approved3. Cheaply made4. The sensor points up thru chest plate so you must wave up high to get it to go off. It will not go off just by someone near it.DO NOT BUY RESEARCH OTHER SKELETONS

This is so creative and fun! Kids loved it and stop to watch it all the time. Adjustable arms and volume control. Such a fun animated surprise. Not scary at all for young kids.

This animatronic skeleton is not bad at all. No problems with the assembly- about 10 minutes with the clear instructions. Wish the power cord was a few feet longer. The upper body - including upper torso, arms, head, and jaw - all move in conjunction with the skeleton’s voice track. Note: the lower body from the waist down does not move. And the skeleton is not “fully pose-able” - it has to stand a certain way to be held up by the metal stand, and there is limited positions with the arms and hands. The body is made of sturdy plastic - not high quality (can see the seams from the plastic molding, can see the screws where components are attached, some kind of sensor is hanging from the back, one of the hands is so loose at the wrist that it won’t hold position). Lightweight - may need to be weighted down in very windy conditions. It should last for a few years if stored properly. The eyes are pretty cool - especially in the dark - but I’ve seen more natural eye effects on other animatronics. The voice track is clear and loud and spooky - and it is pretty long. I think I would have preferred it to be broken up into 2 or 3 tracks that are randomly played. The sensor can be finicky; I have the skeleton set up on my porch, and the echo of my loud voice or clap sometimes sets it off - and sometimes a hand passing right in front of the sensor does set it off right away.Overall, it is a pretty good animated skeleton that gives a good scare - but I expected more at this price point (more movement, more pose abilities, 4 or 5 different voice tracks).
