Checkered Flag Cars Wallpaper Border-4.5 Inch (Black Edge)

Looks amazing! I was really nervous putting this up, as I've never applied wallpaper before. The instructions read "Cut into a length you can handle." And I was like what does that mean? How much can I handle? I recommend taping it to the wall & making marks to follow along the wall to ensure a straight line before getting it wet. It was super easy to apply & apparently I can handle half a roll at a time. Lol 😂

.... You better know or learn how to hang wallpaper border. I laid mine out on a table, used warm water and a small roller and I rolled the back of it nice and wet. Folded it over and let it sit for 5 minutes. Over the next few minutes is when I start to hang it. Make sure you have a squeegee as you go along and use your hands make sure it's all set on the edges..

There is no black line at the top and bottom of the design. I was concerned because the top side went up against a white wall. It still ended up looking pretty good. I was going for that retro diner look.

Ladies (and gentlemen),I searched and searched for the right border for my project and simply had no luck. I was redoing a kitchen and am not a NASCAR fan so I didn't bother to look at this...at first. Frustrated, I started looking at EVERYTHING! What a stroke of luck!This border is PERFECT for a kitchen! It is not too wide (4.5" as opposed to 6" to 10" borders) for a border treatment under the cabinets on a wallsplash. The black and white checkerboard is classic kitchen design. I had a busy and unique wall application on my wallsplash so I really needed a simple border to give it a clean look. I could imagine this also working great with something as simple as paint on a wallsplash.I bought this checkerboard border with the black edge but the red edge might also work well. I just couldn't tell from the picture if the edge was a true red.This border was of good quality and was easy to apply. The price is right and the shipping from this supplier was very prompt.The versatility of this border design is almost endless. Don't let that NASCAR monicker fool you! I am adding "kitchen" to the tags to hopefully make finding that "perfect" kitchen border easier to find for the next guy or gal.

Pre glued, just run it through a little water to wet it and apply. Sticks great after rolling it a few times and so far is staying great. Also easy to remove if you make a mistake.

I ordered this for an 80s Bar build-out I was doing in my garage...and picked it because of the reviews I'd read. Straight up - any positive reviews for this must have been paid for because the adhesive is non-existent. Seriously, I followed the directions and could not get them strips to stay up at all. I wound up adding glue of my own to finally get them to stick.Also, they are made out of a very thin paper that wrinkles incredibly easy.Look elsewhere on this one.

This would be much better if it was adhesive. It has to be submerged in water in order to stick. It looks good and is a good quality it’s just like old school wall paper

At first I was super stressed trying to find a method that works. We got a bucket unrolled it cut into long strips let them soak about 2-5mins take them out let them dry maybe 30secs-1min and then adhere to the wall. Once I figured out how to get it on the wall the rest was easy. I ordered two rolls for my sons room, we love it! Make sure your walls are clean first and if you paint before hand let it completely dry or you’ll get water drips and have to repaint like I did lol. Overall though I’d use this product again.
