Heavy
I have to assemble yet. Very heavy. Should work well

Heavy duty
Very well built. Came with a template that helped figuring out location needed for the installation. I needed a set up like this due to the home builder put power and Ethernet outlets about 3 1/2” above the fireplace mantel. I wanted the tv on the wall above the mantel so items could be placed on it. Didn’t want cables dangling down. Moved the power receptacle into the tv mount box. Worked out great. Don’t think I’ll have any issues with this mount ever.

Premium Wall Mount with some Caveats
I got this to mount a 77in TV. I wanted to replace my old mount to be more flush with the wall. I got this thinking it would help.Installation, be sure to measure behind the wall. This thing is big. As for the cavity, while the product page and website does suggest you can use it to store some basic boxes, it really has limited space if you want to avoid losing out the flush feature. That is, to achieve the flush mounting feature, the mount is designed to fold flat and take up the space of the cavity. If you fill it up with power bricks or what have you, it won't be able to fold flat.Overall, pretty well built product with some annoyances.

Excellent T.V Mount
First of all, this articulating bracket is heavy!! Well made and can easily hold an 85” T.V. without any issues. I built a custom enclosure to hide my electronic gear, and needed something that didn’t have the crossbar T.V. This bracket was perfect, the extension comes out about 2 1/2 -3 feet, which provides ample room to access behind the T.V. when needed.Solid construction of this bracket gives me peace of mind when pulling my T.V. out. no sagging or tilting with this mount… very sturdy. I highly recommend this bracket for anyone wanting to keep their T.V almost flat against the wall or recessed.

Tried to return and got no response
I bought 4 of these mounts and was unable to use them. I opened one and left the other 3 unopened. I tried to return the items and got no response. I tried contacting SANUS directly and they claim that they do not handle orders from this Amazon store. I was stuck with 4 mounts that I was unable to use. There is no customer service or anyone to talk to if something goes wrong. Even though this Amazon store appears to be run by SANUS, SANUS cannot work with Amazon order numbers and will do nothing with products order through this Amazon store.I would never buy from this store again.

Poor Quality Control
First I will say that this thing feels well made. It is very heavy and sturdy. Unfortunately there are two issues that could be improved on.First, depending on where your TV's mounting holes are, the television will sit higher or lower relative to the recessed box. This is a problem if you want it mounted at a specific position above your mantel, counter, etc., although if you don't care about that then this is a moot point. Our TV is going above a counter in the kitchen/dining room and we need the bottom of the TV at a specific height above the counter. Sanus (Legrand) has a page on their website that is supposed to do the calculations for you, but it doesn't work . . . that is it doesn't give you any answer (as opposed to a wrong answer). We tried repeatedly, on 3 different browsers, not working on any.The second issue, which we are VERY glad to have figured out before cutting a hole in our wall(!) is that the holes in the steel articulating arm do not line up with the holes in the recessed mounting plate - see photo. These holes need to line up so that you can insert the included screws to assure the TV does not fall out of the recessed plate and onto your floor. It appears they may know about this as the hole at the bottom (left in photo) has been enlarged to accommodate that screw. Unfortunately, they didn't also enlarge the upper hole and you can not get that screw in to the recessed plate. Maybe one screw would be sufficient but when TVs cost well over $1000 why would you take the risk, especially when Sanus (Legrand) thought it appropriate to have two screws to hold this to the wall.I called their company (which they encourage you to do) and spoke to a nice person. I sent the attached photo and she confirmed it was not right. She promised the higher ups would contact me in 1-2 days about replacement, or other resolution, but the 48 hour window has come and gone and nothing from them. So, sending it back through Amazon (an excellent experience) and will order another one and hope for better alignment . . . . . .Happy to say that the replacement had holes that lined up perfectly! We have installed it, hung the TV, and are very satisfied with the product. It is a heavy, solidly made, piece of equipment and they provide all the different screw and washer options that you may need for your particular television (although you should probably confirm that your TV and this mounting system are compatible). BTW, we never did hear back from the company, but Amazon handled the return and replacement efficiently and without question.
