This things awesome. Works great. Love the fact that you can see inside it and flush out whenever needed. I had no idea how much debris was coming up thru my well, including fire ants! Using the 40micron (finest micron screen incomes with) and dont even notice a difference in water pressure. Just give it a quick flush once per week and its great. Take 2 seconds.

Surprising quality for the price! I originally tried a Russo spin down filter, but it was all plastic construction and I cracked it installing it. My fault, but bass is the way to go. Everything about this one is top notch and it's great to have three filter sizes included to choose from!

After replacing a 50 gallon electric hot water heater with a tank less model, I added this and an electronic descaler to the system to protect the new unit.Pros:I appreciate the small size of this Sediment filter, as I was working with limited space. I also appreciate that it comes with three differnt filters. I am going to give the 200 micron a spin for starters. I am also a fan of the tap on the bottom to clean and drain the filter. Especially since it is a tap that can be tied into a drain system. I have everything I need to drain to wi terizemy house tied into a drain run that exits my house through a spigot. I appreciate that this filter has a clear bowl, so I can actually check the filter status visually, instead of just writing dates, or trusting some sort of silly status light. Additionally, the male and female threading on the filter body gives you lots of options for hookup.Cons:Just a couple of mknor things. First, the drain valve on the bottom seems to aquire its seal to the filter bowl under pressure. This means that if you have your water off, but not drained, it will leak. Also, the drain valve handle aligns with the valve in the off position, instead of being perpendicular like every other ball balve on the planet. Sure, I can undoubtedly take it off and turn it, but I can never take back the first time I put water in it, assumed it to be off, and got a pocket full of 40° water.

We have a new water well and needed this for it. It works great and keeps the water pressure. High quality good product.

Great filter and it seems fairly sturdy. The discharge hose could be longer.

Catch a lot of particulates and keep a good pressure , good quality and design , installed before the whole house filter, after I installed I realized all the sediment and rocks that were coming from the city water.
