Is there enough room on the 8" bass pad for a double bass pedal?

Yes, there is enough room for double pedal. I had an alesis nitro kit before this and its 6" kick pad was good for double pedal so 8" kick pad is enough

Would alesis command rack clamps fit the dm10 mkii pro rack?

Hi, Alesis support here! Command Mesh rack clamps are suitable for use with the DM10MKII rack. It's important to note, however, that the Command Mesh Pads are not compatible for connectivity with the DM10MKII module.

Is there training software for beginners?

Alesis support here! No training software is included, but since it plays like any other drum kit, there may be tutorials online and drumming software that can be found and use with the DM10 kit. Do i need to buy a pedal for this?

Yes. Any pedal you have will work. If you’re a new player, consider visiting a music store to physically try out one that works for you. And buy a beater that isn’t felt! Felt will eat the drum head quickly. Wood or plastic, or use Evans drum head patches. Works well. Take time to get used to the feel and intricacies of the set. It’s similar to an acoustic set, but wildly different at the same time. If you play a double bass drum, the head will accommodate a double pedal set up. Above all, have fun.
